Today we're talking about body wisdom.
Your body is not less than your mind or soul.
Whatever your body is telling you is wisdom for the whole being.
Don't avoid what your body tells you.
Don't pretend you don't know it or can't hear it.
Listen fully as you would to a dear,
Respected teacher.
Whatever it asks you to pay attention to will bring you more quickly to wholeness.
The body's wisdom is a gift for the whole,
The universe.
So here we're talking about two things.
One is the body's wisdom in terms of our intuitive and emotional sense.
How many times have you come across a person who looks fine on the surface?
They look fine.
They seem fine.
They're dressed normally or they have a regular appearance.
You think that you should feel comfortable around them and then you just don't feel right about them,
Around them.
Something just feels off.
Sometimes it feels off in a really sticky,
Yucky way and sometimes it just feels off as if their appearance,
What they're projecting is not resonating with what is on the inside.
So our body lets us know immediately about a person or a situation or an event.
Our body lets us know how we feel immediately.
And this is the kind of wisdom.
When people ask,
How can I be psychic or how can I open my intuition,
Your body wisdom is one of the first places this begins.
Some people use the word gut feeling and I think that is important,
But there's also just this visceral reaction,
Almost a body slash emotional reaction that happens for most people as they take in the vibe or they take in the resonance of whatever they're facing and so this is something to be trusted.
Especially in terms of romance,
It's pretty common for people to experience danger as attraction,
Which is not a recipe for a great relationship or they feel excitement and this makes them think something is good.
Whereas really the body is just showing you,
Hey,
Danger,
Danger and instead of running away like we should,
We go closer.
So body wisdom is especially important to pay attention to.
Then the next part of this is body wisdom about the body itself and we can absolutely be our own medical intuitive,
But I would also add that it's not necessarily medical.
It may also be energetic.
So if your body tells you,
Oh,
We're tired,
The body is tired.
If your body tells me,
Goodness,
We need more fruits and vegetables.
If your body tells you,
You need to exercise more.
These are things that you know the body is resounding in your understanding these things and the best thing to do is just to follow these directions from the body.
More exercise,
More sleep,
Better nutrition,
All these things that the body is directing you to do.
And one thing about the physical body is that when your body is somewhat in alignment with itself,
When your body is resonating at a level that it enjoys,
You won't hear that much from it.
It won't have the need to alert you to something going on.
So that's one way to test,
Like how does my body feel?
I feel pretty good.
And so knowing that body wisdom is a way to assess any changes you might require to your health and self-care practices.
So again,
Paying attention,
We receive information in visioning,
We receive information in clairvoyance,
We receive in meditation,
We receive in science and synchronicities and body wisdom.
The body also tells us everything we need to know.
