Follow your own map.

You will be given many maps during your lifetime.

The first maps won't belong to you,

The maps from family,

Society.

Throw these maps away.

When you start to follow your own map,

Which is the map of guidance and flow,

You notice how your progress is easier and how things fall into place more without effort.

The speed at which you create your dreams increases.

If you are feeling stuck,

Pull out your own map,

The universe.

So when we are in different stages of our lives,

In the 20s,

We are often kind of wandering,

Trying to figure out who we are and what we want to do and where we're going.

And so in the 20s,

We sort of think we're following our own map,

But a lot of times we get kind of stuck with tribe.

We get really pushed and pulled and gathered up and hurried along with other people who are on a path and we sort of think,

Ah,

Well,

We must all be on this path because we're so similar and so forth.

And then it comes around after a while of being with tribe in this really intensive way.

And I'm not saying tribe is a bad thing.

I'm just saying this is a pattern that tends to happen.

After a while in the 30s,

We start to feel a little unsettled as to whether that is the right path for us.

And then by the 40s,

We tend to blow everything apart and really start this seeking in earnest.

What is my path?

What is my calling?

Where am I going?

This is the timeframe when many people start,

Some people start earlier,

But many people start really taking a look at all the beliefs they were raised with,

All the things that society told them,

All the dreams that they used to have.

And they just start throwing those on the ground and being like,

I don't want to carry this one anymore.

This baggage is no longer coming with me.

And then we begin to go into the universe with this new sense of wandering and not knowing and following instead of our own perceived notion about how things should be.

We just start following the guidance as it comes up.

We start following the little nudges and synchronicities and signs.

And we let the universe provide the map for us.

We let the universe provide.

And what's interesting is that even though it feels very secure and stable to kind of have this idea that we know where we're going,

What we find is that when we throw this map away,

It gets a lot more interesting.

It gets a lot more exciting,

And it gets a lot more meaningful.

When we let the universe show us through these signs and synchronicities the next step,

The next part of our path,

It's a very different quality than just trying to march forward on a map that isn't really ours.

This idea of the speed at which you create your dreams increases.

The speed at which you create your dreams increases when you're in flow so that when you let go of all the things you think you should be doing or all the things you feel that you must be doing,

Then your connection with the universe begins to lead you at an accelerated rate.

What an interesting view on life maps and how we evaluate our purpose through each stage of life. I’m honestly feeling this being close to 30. I thank you for these words of wisdom and for the affirmations I needed to hear. Namaste. 🙏🏻
