Come and listen to some amazing sounds, they can really help you feel calm and happy! When we listen a little more carefully it's easier to feel nice in our bodies. Taking a break in life is one of the most important things you can do for yourself.

Hello everyone,

I've got some fantastic sounds to show you today.

But before we do that,

Whether you're sat up or lying down,

I just want you to take a big breath in,

And a big breath out.

And just breathe in,

And breathe out again.

And just take one hand and put it over the middle of your chest,

And the other,

And put it over your belly butter.

And just breathe in,

Breathe out,

Looking at the room around you,

Just seeing what you notice.

Different colours,

Different shapes,

Different pictures maybe.

Just breathe in,

And breathe out.

And then close your eyes,

Just have a little think about what sounds you can hear.

You might hear noises outside,

There might be a ticking clock,

There might be people shuffling around you.

Maybe you can hear them breathing in,

And breathing out.

Maybe you can hear you,

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Letting the warmth underneath your hands,

Off your body.

Just listening to those sounds as they come and float into your ears.

Feeling your ears,

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

And just letting the sounds that I'm going to show you,

One by one,

Just come and float in.

Like they're just swimming into your ears,

Into the middle of your head,

And into your body.

Here we go,

I'll play the first one now.

And as you're still breathing in,

And breathing out,

Just notice how that sound felt.

How the sound feels for you when you heard it.

Okay,

Now for another one.

Here we go.

Still breathing in,

And breathing out gently.

Feeling your body underneath your hands.

Just having a feel how that sound was.

And another one.

Here we are.

So we're in.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Just feeling that calm inside you.

Now I'm gonna play a little bit of music now at the end.

All you need to do is kind of just let it come to you.

So as you listen,

Breathe in and breathe out and just hear all the different sounds floating and dancing around.

And there we go.

So next time you want to have a little listen to the world,

Maybe you're outside and you can hear the birds or you can hear the wind rushing in the leaves or the cars passing by.

If you want to,

You can just close your eyes,

Put one hand on your chest,

One hand on your stomach and just breathe in and breathe out.

Feels pretty good,

Huh?
