At the end of the day, when you prepare for sleep, listen to this meditation to let go of your day. Let go of worries and negative thoughts as you breathe, and relax deeply. Relax your body and mind and be ready for a good night's sleep.

Letting go of your day.

Sit or lie down and close your eyes.

Make sure that you are comfortable.

Then you go with your attention to your breath.

Just observe how your breath is in this moment.

If you notice that your breath is a little high and maybe a little rushed,

You can place a hand on your belly to help your breath get deeper and slower.

Breathe deeply and slowly,

Allowing your body to relax more and more.

And take a moment to really arrive here,

In this moment,

The place where you are,

Where you are listening to this meditation.

Feel the chair or the sofa or your bed.

Feel how it supports you.

And feel how you are there.

And just be here and now.

And keep breathing deeply and slowly.

Whatever it is that's keeping your mind busy,

You can let it go for now.

Because all you have to do is be here and now.

Your thoughts and your worries will probably still be there after this meditation.

So for now,

Just let them go.

And if you notice that they are still there,

Try to just observe them,

So that they can come and go.

Try to not hold on to those thoughts,

Those worries or whatever it is that's on your mind.

We have so many thoughts in a day,

You don't have to pay attention to them all.

And now is a moment for you to relax.

To relax your body and your mind.

It's time to let go of your day.

Maybe you had a very bad day,

Maybe a very happy day or anything in between.

Everything is okay.

Just breathe deeply and slowly.

Relaxing more and more.

And as you're breathing deeply and slowly and relaxing more with every breath you take,

You feel that with every inhale you breathe in more relaxation,

More positive energy.

And when you breathe out,

You breathe out stress and worries.

Relaxation in and worries out.

And just keep going like this for a moment.

Feeling how your belly moves up and down while you breathe and while you let go more and more.

And as you're breathing in,

You're letting go more and more.

And as you're letting go more and more,

You're letting go more and more.

And then you imagine a bright light shining above you.

This light shines down on you.

And you feel that this light starts filling your whole body.

Starting with your head and your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your arms and your hands.

And slowly going down through your back,

Through your chest,

Your belly and your lower back,

Your hips and your legs and all the way down to your feet.

Feel how the light fills you and how it pushes away negative thoughts and negative energy that you might have picked up during your day.

It's time to let everything go now.

And keep breathing deeply and slowly and feel how you are more and more relaxed and how you are more and more letting go of your day.

It's safe to let go.

And feel how you are supported by the chair or your bed or wherever you're lying or sitting.

And feel how you are supported by the earth.

And maybe you'd like to take a deep breath in so that when you breathe out you can let go of any tension in your body.

Now let's do that again.

Take a deep breath in and when you breathe out you let go of tension and worries.

And one more time,

A deep breath in.

And when you breathe out you let everything go and you relax.

Your day is now behind you.

And you can go have a really good night's sleep.

Recharging and relaxing.

And preparing for a new day full of energy.

And feeling relaxed and calm.

Allow your body to really relax.

And to let sleep take over little by little.

As you are breathing deeply and slowly.
