So begin to just settle into your body.

Start to let go of any energy from this morning that may be still around,

May be carrying.

Just noticing what feels heavy right now for you emotionally.

Where are you storing it in your body?

I want you to just breathe into that,

Expanding your chest,

Really using your lungs,

Exhaling out through the nose.

And if you've been feeling some waves of grief,

Allow yourself to sit with this for a moment.

Know that it's a wave.

That you can find stillness in some space,

That if I was there with you right now,

Or imagine that your intuitive self was there with you in the space with you right now.

And I'm in the background just facilitating this experience.

Allow your intuitive self to sit with you.

Notice how this version of you feels.

Notice how this version of you looks.

Begin to hold your own hand.

So place your right hand on top of your left as if you're holding your hand.

Take a deep breath in and exhale it out.

And invite your intuitive self,

This dear friend of yours,

Into your heart.

Imagine that this friend of yours is holding your hand in spirit right now.

Perhaps these might be the words that your intuitive self may say to you to help you,

To hold you in this space of grief and in this time of uncertainty.

I know that it's not easy right now.

I know that it can feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders.

I see you.

I see your pain.

I see your sadness,

Your fear,

Thoughts that keep you up at night.

I know the sacrifices you have made,

The needs that you have forgotten of your own to help another.

I know.

I'm here to remind you,

To help you remember just how important you are,

How important you are to me.

The earth is so lucky to know someone so special as you.

To be in your presence is like being in the presence of an earth angel.

It is a privilege.

And you,

My friend,

Are a privilege,

A gift.

It is okay if you fall apart.

It's okay if you get messy,

If you make mistakes.

It's okay if you said things that you didn't mean.

Allow yourself to just feel compassion for these mistakes.

Your shadows are just as important as your light.

It's all a part of your beauty.

It's all a part of the great big story that makes you,

You.

My love,

You will get through this.

You will come out the other side later,

More free,

Even if it doesn't feel like it right now.

These big awakenings require great rebirths.

So you're just in a rebirth.

Sometimes these take time.

It's okay if you want to hide for a little bit,

But I'm here.

I'm with you every day,

Whispering little notes of guidance,

Guiding you home.

There is nothing to be ashamed of.

You are enough.

You've always been enough.

You've always been enough for me.

Your great big heart and soft spirit are what we all need.

It is what we have all been waiting for.

You and only you have this beautiful gift to give,

And the world deserves to know you.

I love you.

In your mind,

I want to invite you to repeat these words to yourself.

I am here with you.

I am not going anywhere.

I will never leave you.

I see you.

I trust you.

You are safe.

You are loved.

You are supported.

Take a deep breath in,

And slowly exhale out of your mouth.

One more time,

Deep breath in.

Slowly exhale out of your mouth.

Begin to bring your consciousness into your body.

Feel free to roll your shoulders back,

Draw your shoulder blades in,

Opening your heart,

Expanding your chest.

Inhale your arms up overhead.

Hook the thumbs.

Spread the fingers wide like a fan.

Take another deep inhale,

And exhale out through the mouth.

Let go of the hands.

Let them fall by your side.

When you are ready,

You can open your eyes if you haven't already.

Take a moment to notice how you feel.

Notice how your body feels.

Notice what maybe came up for you in the meditation.

Any messages of wisdom or maybe emotions,

Feelings of things moving,

Clearing out any energy.

I cried a lot, which was releasing grief of recent deaths of loved ones. It was nice to be guided through it in this way.

Some really lovely invitations given here. Important reminder that the words we use to speak to ourselves are both powerful and within our control. What a gentle way to meet feelings of grief with compassion. We say that a lot but this meditation gives an action to those words. Love is an action. Beautiful Emily.
