This 10-day course is for anyone struggling with stress, exhaustion, or overwhelm. Rest regulates the nervous system, relaxes the body, and clears the mind - but many of us are carrying a lot of baggage around rest – consciously and unconsciously. Through this course, you’ll increase mental clarity, find more at ease in your body, improve work-life balance, and become more present, grounded, well-rested, and relaxed in your daily life. Over the next 10 days, you’ll learn why you might feel guilty for resting, why you might be afraid of rest, and how listening to your body, instead of your mind, can lead you to the well-rested life that you deserve and desire. You’ll be well-supported on your path with accessible teachings and simple, pragmatic tools including Yoga Nidra, mindfulness-based meditation, digital wellness strategies, affirmations, and contemplative journaling. You’ll also be invited to get intentional in creating a daily practice. But most of all, you’ll be encouraged to reconnect to yourself and honor your energy, because through rest – we rise!

Leçon 1
Your Relationship To Rest
Rest is a profoundly simple and powerful healing tool. But although rest is simple, it’s not always easy. So, in order to access its healing benefits, you first have to get clear on your relationship to rest. From there, you can begin to shift the inner narratives, beliefs, and patterns that prevent you from living the well-rested life you deserve and desire. This session lays the foundation for the course, clarifying the structure and objectives. You’ll be guided in a short, contemplative meditation and invited to spend some time journaling after the session concludes to integrate whatever came up.

Rest & The Nervous System
To prevent burnout and maintain balance, you need to understand what rest is – and what rest isn’t. This session explores rest through the lens of the nervous system, providing you with a perspective shift that will inspire a new way of being. We’ll contemplate the essential nature of rest, clearing up some misconceptions. We’ll also consider how to make the most of your limited free time by making choices that replenish, rather than deplete, your energy. You'll be guided in a simple practice to help you drop your awareness down into your body to discover a felt, inner experience of ease and presence.

Digital Wellness & Solitude
Rest is a solitary experience – but many of us have forgotten how to be alone. In this session, you’ll explore the importance of solitude, and discover the number one obstacle that’s preventing you from experiencing both solitude and rest, and how you can overcome it. You’ll be introduced to the idea of micro-rest practices called Restful Resets, so you can reclaim solitude during the in-between moments of your day. The session concludes with a short but effective mindfulness-based grounding technique that you can easily weave into your daily life.

The Mind & The Illusion Of Urgency
Rest is not a reward for completing your to-do list. It’s not something you have to earn. You always have the right to rest. But your mind tells a different story. Your mind creates the illusion of urgency, prioritizing mundane tasks while convincing you to postpone the thing you need most: rest. In this session, we’ll explore how mental pressure prevents you from resting. You’ll be invited to consider your to-do list from a new perspective that honors your energetic needs. Today's practice is an affirmation-based meditation with background music that can be used as a pattern interrupt in daily life to replace counterproductive mental narratives around rest.

The Language Of Sensation
Your body speaks in the language of sensation. It’s communicating with you in every moment. But are you listening? When you habitually ignore your body’s rest requests, you put yourself on an express train to Burnout City. So in this session, we’ll explore how to honor your body’s energy, listen to its messages, and tune in to its natural rhythms in your daily life. Today's meditation is a short practice that invites you to ground your awareness fully in your body and perceive sensations in a new way, so you can develop new patterns of responsive listening that encourage a new relationship to rest.

Foundations Of Rest With Yoga Nidra
Rest is an inner experience that is available to you in every moment. But in order to access rest, you have to let go of the external world and drop into a felt sense of ease within your body. But when you’re stressed or overwhelmed – when you need rest most – it can be difficult to find that quality of peaceful presence. This session introduces you to Yoga Nidra as a powerful, foundational technique to help you learn how to let go and discover what deep rest feels like. You’ll be guided in a beginner's Yoga Nidra with background music.

Creating Hormonal Homeostasis With Yoga Nidra
Stress and anxiety are normal parts of daily life, but they don’t have to be your baseline. Through a daily rest practice, we rebalance the nervous system, decreasing stress and anxiety levels and improving mind-body health. Yoga Nidra helps us clear stress hormones from the body, while increasing 'happiness hormones'. In this session, you'll discover Yoga Nidra’s unique benefits for the nervous system and hormonal regulation, and be introduced to the essential teaching that rest is a biological necessity, not a luxury. You’ll be guided in a beginner's Yoga Nidra with background music.

Owning Your Self-Worth
Sometimes, a resistance to rest comes from a lack of self-love and self-worth. But one of the simplest and most profound ways you can practice self-love is by prioritizing a daily rest practice. In doing so, you demonstrate to yourself that you care for and value yourself – and isn’t that what love is? So instead of burning the candle at both ends and overcommitting your way through life, trying to prove your worth, this session invites you to make the deliberate choice to rest, acknowledging that you have done enough – that you are enough. In this moment and in every moment. You’ll be guided in a gentle self-love meditation with background music.

The Sacred Ritual Of Rest
You may have heard the expression, ‘we don’t see the world as it is, we see the world as we are.’ But life can move so fast that we forget who we are - and why we’re here. Stuck on a hamster wheel of mundanity, we lose connection with ourselves and what’s really important – merely existing, instead of living. This session centers rest as a spiritual practice, inviting you to explore an ancient, sacred ritual of remembering, so you can see clearly and honor the gift of life. You’ll be guided in a short, contemplative meditation. After the session concludes, please take some time and space for reflection and integration through journaling.

Integration & Some Cherries On Top
You’ve absorbed a lot of information over the last 10 days, but it’s important to remember that information is not transformation. So in this final session, we’ll review and integrate the previous nine lessons, reflecting on how the pieces fit together so you can put everything you’ve learned into practice. You’ll also receive some additional practical tools and strategies to support you in creating a daily rest practice that suits your needs and your life. Please note, this session does not include a meditation practice.

This was so useful in helping me to reclaim serenity. I was living a life filled with constant stress. The demands of a high pressure job, caring for an aging parent, navigating complex social and family relationships, and career setbacks had become exhausting.
