This is my go-to protocol for easing anxiety and finding the peace and calm you are longing for. To begin, I need you to commit to morning and evening times for self care. I like to call these "bookends"! Even as much as 10 minutes per day can have a powerful effect. If your body is stuck in fight-or-flight, it will need consistent moments of practicing calm. These meditations are designed to tell your body you are safe. Using the breath, the power of our thoughts and visualization, each will bring you deeper into a relaxed state. Repetition is key, as you teach your mind, body and nervous system what calm feels like. So commit to a few moments in the beginning of the day and a few moments at the end of the day for the most positive outcome. Morning meditations like the Self-Compassion Meditation, Setting Intentions Meditation are a great way to start the day. I recommend doing these within the first moments of waking up. Just put in your earbuds and push play. Evening meditations like the Deep Rest Meditation or Releasing the Weight of the World are deep deep resets for your nervous system. Doing these at the end of your work day or as you are laying down for bed will improve your sleep and bring your nervous system in to rest-and-digest. It is an amazing way to release your day and will have a cumulative effect on your overall anxiety level! Creating more Calm in your life IS possible. It takes consistency but can be done in little pockets of time throughout your day. Sending you love, Tiffany
