Welcome to the meditation to channel your emotions.

Take this time to prepare your body comfortably,

Either laying down on your back or seated onto your sit bones.

Just become aware of what's going to be more comfortable for you as you delve deep into the realm of your emotions.

So just take this time.

Arrange yourself.

I want you to close your eyes.

Feel the heaviness of your eyelids melting deeply into your eye sockets.

Acknowledge that feeling.

Breathing slowly and deeply.

Every time you let go of your breath,

Feel your body melting and melting.

Feel that heaviness.

Envision yourself in a forested area.

Notice the trees and bushes that surround you.

Take this moment to feel the ground below you.

The air around you.

Notice what you hear from the distance,

Observing here as you breathe.

Begin to walk through the forest,

Acknowledging if you went straight ahead,

To the right or left,

Or if you turned around to the back,

Behind you.

Notice in the direction you choose to go and follow suit,

Breathing here.

Continue to walk,

One foot at a time,

Noticing that feeling,

And eventually find yourself amongst the trees,

Towards a river.

Notice the river,

Notice how thick or thin the stream is.

Notice if it's moving quickly or slowly.

Just take this moment to acknowledge what you see.

Breathing slowly and deeply,

Listen to the water.

Notice what you feel,

Notice any emotions that rise up from looking at the river,

Or what you hear by the river.

Walk towards the river,

Noticing the way you have to go there to reach it.

Notice if there's barriers or an open path leading you directly to it.

Acknowledge it.

Move towards the river.

As you find yourself standing in front of the river,

Take this moment to place a finger inside of it,

Or the whole of your palm.

And again,

Acknowledge if it's cool to the touch,

Or warm.

Notice if it's heavy or light.

Just allow yourself to feel as you breathe in,

Slowly and deeply.

And slowly allow a foot or two place into the water.

Notice the sensation here as you breathe.

Allow yourself to be here amongst the river.

What are you feeling emotionally as you stand here?

Notice what you feel.

Notice which direction the water leads towards,

To the left or right,

Ahead of you or behind you.

Notice that direction as you breathe.

And acknowledge what touches the water.

Acknowledge if it touches a person,

An animal,

A plant,

Or a rock.

What else is a stream being touched by?

Acknowledge it.

Breathe here.

Notice how you feel as the water touches these things or people.

What are you feeling?

Breathe through that sensation.

Notice the depth of the river.

Is it over the ankles or knees or below?

Acknowledge the depth of your river,

Breathing here.

And take this moment to sit amongst the river,

Or lay down on your back.

Acknowledge the ground of the river,

Or rocks or sand.

Notice what you feel.

Notice the moving of the water amongst your body.

What does that feel like?

How does it make you feel as you breathe?

Allow yourself to feel these sensations,

Breathing slowly and deeply.

And feel the heaviness of your breath.

Every time you exhale,

Feel the heaviness of your body.

Feel back into your body.

Become aware of its movement,

Maybe wiggling through the toes and fingers,

The wrists and the ankles.

Becoming alive again here in this moment.

And when you feel ready,

Gently bring yourself back here to awaken,

To be where you are.
