Hello everyone,
In this video I'm going to be sharing affirmations that you can use to assist you as you are building your self love before you start dating.
So when you're ready,
Just go ahead and get into a comfortable position.
Take some time to just become aware of your breathing.
Notice how your body feels.
Close your eyes when you're ready.
Then just become aware of your stomach rising and falling with every breath.
Don't feel obligated to change your experience,
To change your breath instead,
Just observe.
Continue to breathe naturally and become aware of the seat or the bed or the floor underneath you.
Bring your awareness to the space in between your body and whatever is supporting you.
Tune into what your body is feeling.
Quickly scan from your head,
The crown of your head down to the space in between your eyebrows and just release any tension if you notice it.
Bring your awareness down to your jaw and if you notice that you're clenching,
Just relax it.
Allow your tongue to just relax in your mouth and your jaw to fall open.
Scan down to your shoulders and become aware if there's any tension,
Any anxiety that you're holding onto.
Just breathe into it and release it.
Continue to scan down.
Notice your heart area,
Your heart center and just send gratitude to that space,
To your heart for beating,
For your chest rising and falling with each breath as a reminder that you are alive and well and still have a purpose here on this earth.
Continue to scan down and just notice your belly as you breathe in and out.
Become aware of your hips.
Breathe into them if they feel tight or tense.
Continue to scan down.
Notice your fingertips,
Relax them into the surface beneath you.
Continue to scan down,
Scan down.
Notice your thighs,
Notice your knees,
Notice your calves,
Notice your ankles,
All the way down to the very bottoms of your souls.
And just imagine that your souls are planted,
Rooted and grounded to whatever the surface is that they are on,
Whether it's the hills or the palms of your feet.
Just feel the gravitational pull planting you firmly in this moment.
You are safe,
You are secure.
Now I would like for you to repeat these affirmations aloud or in your mind as I say them.
And with each affirmation,
Send love,
Kindness and awareness to your heart space.
Let's begin.

Take a deep breath in and breathe out through your nose.
One more time and hold it at the top and breathe out through your nose.
When you feel ready,
Open your eyes and just notice how your body feels.
Become aware that you are vibrating at a higher frequency than when you started and that this frequency is how you experience true self-love that then radiates outside of you.
Come back to this meditation and affirmations whenever you need it and I pray that this was a blessing to you.
