Relax your physical body guided meditation.
Find a comfortable chair to sit in or feel free to lay down during this meditation.
Allow your body to begin to relax.
Breathe in and out.
Breathe in and out.
Take a big cleansing breath in and breathe out any tension that you're holding in your body.
Feel the energy of relaxation beginning at the bottom of your feet.
It may feel warm,
Tingly,
Or simply calm and loose.
Allow the relaxation to spread to every part of your feet and up to your ankles.
Feel the relaxation rising above your ankles,
Flowing up your legs to your knees,
Flowing through your knees and continuing up your legs.
Allow the relaxation energy to continue to spread throughout your body.
Feel it rising now to your hips and pelvic area,
To your stomach,
Including your lower back,
To your chest,
Including your entire heart space,
As well as your upper back.
Let your upper arms relax,
Followed by your elbows,
Lower arms,
And then wrists.
Feel the relaxation spread to your hands,
Relaxing the palms of your hands,
The back of your hands,
Each finger and thumb.
Your hands feel pleasantly warm,
Heavy,
And deeply relaxed.
Feel your body relaxing further as you open up your chest and allow your shoulders to ease back slightly.
Allow your upper back to relax even further.
Let your shoulders relax,
As well as your neck.
Feel the relaxation energy continue to spread to all parts of your face,
Including your chin,
Your mouth,
Your cheeks,
Nose,
Eyes,
And the back of your head.
Feel your eyelids begin to become heavy and relaxed.
Notice your eyebrows relaxing,
Your ears relaxing,
And your forehead.
Your forehead feels cool and relaxed.
There is no tension being held in between your eyes.
Let the relaxation energy spread further to the top of your head.
Your entire body now is relaxed and calm.
Feel the relaxation flowing throughout your body,
From the very top of your head to the bottoms of your feet.
You can relax even deeper as you let your spine relax completely.
Simply focus on where the top of your spine meets your head.
Feel the relaxation.
Feel the muscles giving up their tension and relaxing.
Feel the relaxation energy spread down your spine,
Down your neck,
To your upper back,
Middle back,
And then lower back,
All the way down to your tailbone at the base of your spine.
Notice all of the muscles of your back relaxing completely.
Feel the relaxation flowing throughout your body.
Breathe in.
Now hold that breath and relax your muscles totally,
Allowing the breath to flow gently out your nose or mouth.
Take another deep breath in,
Breathing in relaxation,
And then release that breath and breathe out any remaining tension.
Continue to breathe smoothly and slowly as you mentally scan your body,
Looking for stored tension and stress.
If you notice something that feels low vibration,
Focus on it.
Direct the relaxation energy to flow into that area,
And then see or feel it push and carry the tension away.
Imagine that the very air you are breathing can cleanse your body,
Remove tension and stress.
Imagine that each breath carries the energy of relaxation to all of your body's cells and organs.
Picture the tension in your body leaving with each breath out.
Now simply relax and truly enjoy this feeling for a few moments.
Before you stand up and continue on with your day,
Please take a moment to come back into this present space with me.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Move your hands and feet.
Open your eyes and take notice of where you are and what the space looks like.
Drinking some water helps to bring you back into this present space.
And this is also an excellent time to journal if anything came up during your meditation.
