A free form somatic (embody-based) exploration of our boundaries. There is no right or wrong - only new discoveries and insights. Working with the body we learn to put our thoughts on hold and connect to deeper wisdom and understanding coming from within ourselves. Knowing through the body means we carry the insights in our bones, so we can take them back to life.

This is a freeform embodied exploration.

I will offer for you suggestions to explore and it is up to your curiosity and sense of playfulness to go deeper wherever you feel like.

There is no right or wrong here just explorations and having fun.

So find yourself a quiet place that you can sit in the next 15 or 10 minutes and see how is that for you to arrive to this moment.

What does it mean for you?

How do you start this journey,

Small journey of arriving to this moment?

What brings you into more contact?

Is it the sounds in the room or the quiet?

Is it the sense of touch,

Gravity?

Is it breath?

Is there anything you need to do in order to help this process of arriving or maybe it's less effort that you need to invest?

You you Let's start by taking our tip of our finger and start touching our hands just with the tip of the finger,

Moving on our edge of each finger.

So with one tip finger,

Tip of a finger,

We're moving around the edges of the other hand.

Just exploring what kind of sensations do we have there?

What is available for us in this moment?

What do you sense there underneath the finger?

Is it just the skin,

Temperature,

Going around your hand and just sensing what's there?

What's there on the edge of our hand?

And how is your breathing responds to it?

Maybe you can try and press a little bit on those edges of your fingers,

Edges of your hand.

How does this boundary feel now?

Is there more flexibility to it or does it feel strong and stable?

Is there anything that you find interesting there or pleasant for you?

How is your sense of arriving to this moment now?

Taking your finger now and go through the edges of your nose.

Does it have edges?

Can you sense the boundaries of your nose?

Where does it start?

Where does it end?

And it's not about thinking now,

It's not about what do I think about my nose.

Do I like it or not?

It's about sensing it.

Experience my nose to the tip of my finger.

Different areas of touch,

Different kind of boundary.

And you can press here as well.

See does this boundary change?

How does it change right now?

Going up with your finger or your both hands starting to sense the edges of your skull.

Where does it end?

How does my skull responds to a light pressure or some gentle movement?

What kind of boundary is there?

And how is my breath?

Does my breath has any boundary right now?

A place where it starts and ends.

Maybe you can mark it with your hand.

Oh yeah I feel my breathing here.

It ends up here.

Any freedom in those boundaries of the breath?

Is there any freedom in those boundaries of the breath?

Can you allow some more freedom?

Allow some movement to happen by itself?

And do you have any sense where you contact the floor,

Contact the ground?

A sense of your weight resting on the floor.

How is weight moving through you,

Connecting you to the ground?

Can you be more available for this kind of force always there pulling you downward,

Connecting you to the earth?

And in this relationship with the ground where do you end and the floor starts?

Where does the floor ends and you start?

In this meeting point of you and the ground,

What's happening there?

Where is the boundary?

Where is the connection?

And does it influence your breath in any way?

How is your sense of arriving?

Did you arrive?

For our next exploration you can find something in your room,

Something that you can come in contact with and explore.

It can be anything,

Any object,

A smartphone,

A stone,

A chair,

Anything that calls your attention.

You can come closer and start with your tip of your finger going around the edges,

Exploring the edges of this object.

What kind of boundary is there?

You can lightly press and explore the quality of this boundary.

How different it is from other boundaries that we explored today.

You can use your whole hand,

Grasp it,

Press it or go lightly.

What's there in this area of contact where you end and the other object starts?

In this play of connection,

Place of meeting.

How do we want to meet the other in this moment?

What kind of meeting do we have sharing in this presence of each other?

And when you feel that's enough for you,

You can say goodbye and go back to your presence,

Your breathing,

Your contact with the floor and the ground,

Your presence.
