First, we find comfort in ourselves and in our surroundings, connecting to the support of the ground and the natural interest around us. It will help us to arrive into the present moment. From there, we can start to explore the skin from different angles: temperatures, unnecessary tensions, touch, movement, and freedom.

This is an invitation for self-exploration and discovery.

Feel comfortable to take any of these experiments and adjust them to your own natural rhythm and curiosity.

So we can start by just arriving to this moment,

Maybe by just being aware of your surrounding.

What do you see around you?

You can let your eyes and head and your whole self to move around and just explore.

What do you see?

What do you hear?

What do you sense?

You are here right now and nowhere else,

No other place.

You are here right now and in no other place.

What it will take from you to inhabit this moment fully?

Anything interesting in your surroundings that calls to your attention?

Any interest?

Something that grabs your attention?

You can stay with that.

Maybe that interesting thing gets something for you,

A gift,

A wisdom,

A message.

And wherever we are,

We always have the support of the earth underneath us.

See if you can become aware,

Acknowledge that there is always support underneath you.

Something is holding you all the time,

So you can let go and rest into it.

The sense of weight is always there,

The call of gravity to connect back to the ground and earth.

Moving sideways and exploring very subtly the sense of weight that is moving downward through you to the sitting bones connecting you with the support.

And here is the breath also always available.

Can you sense it moving and changing you moment by moment,

Expanding,

Contracting,

Inhaling and exhaling with unnecessary effort.

The skin is the most outside organ of the body,

Always coming in contact with the environment around you.

Can you sense any difference in temperature on your skin?

Maybe some wind is touching you or you're barefoot or just the skin on your neck in a different temperature from the one covered by your pants.

How do you know temperature?

What is the sense of coldness or warmth on your skin?

And maybe you can put a warm hand somewhere,

Maybe on the back of your neck.

How is the sense of temperature now?

Which one is warmer or colder,

Your hand or your neck?

How about touching your lower back directly on the skin?

Which one is warmer now,

Your hand or your back?

Or maybe they're the same?

Just pure contact with your skin to skin can give you so much information.

And you can change now to a different area,

Maybe your legs.

Is there any sense of tension on your skin?

Maybe you can notice some tension around the forehead or cheek or your cheekbones.

See if you can soften it,

Letting go of this unnecessary tension on your skin.

You can use your tip of the finger to soften it,

Relax any unnecessary holdings around your body.

The head is a great place to start since we're holding so much tension there.

Using one or two fingers to softly smoothing the skin around the eyes,

The ears,

The mouth.

Does it have any influence on your breath as well?

The skin around your neck,

Your chest.

Moving slowly and smoothing your skin,

Softening the area of your rib cage,

Belly,

Legs.

What is the influence of touching your skin like that?

How does it influencing throughout you?

Can you find a sense of well-being in your skin with this simple touch?

Your feet gently softening any unnecessary tension in your skin.

Leaving that,

How does your surrounding looks like right now?

Is there more ease in your space,

Inner or outer?

Any sense of connection with the ground or your breath that is different?

The next thing that we're going to do is stretching our skin a little bit.

Starting with our arm,

Just let it come to the air and stretch it from your skin.

So there is a sense that your envelope,

Your skin is getting more and more elastic.

Just stretching your hands freely.

See what's coming together with the skin.

Maybe the skin of the hands is connected to the one on the shoulders and the one on the shoulders is connected to the ribs.

Explore the freedom of movement from the skin,

Off the skin.

Allowing the body to move as it wish.

Moving to more ease,

More comfort in your own skin and your own body.

The back can be moved together with the hands and even the skin on your head and your neck can be stretched and come back to life fully engaged.

Stretching your skin with a smile.

And when you're done you can come back to stillness.

Slowly in your own rhythm.

How is your sense of being?

Being in your skin,

Being yourself.

I hope you enjoyed this little exploration and you can take it to the rest of your day and explore it in so many other ways.

Thank you.
