Welcome to a guided meditation from Light Heart Collective.
I'm Larissa and I'll be your guide today.
Thank you for joining me.
Today's meditation will focus on gratitude.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable seat or position.
Maybe that is sitting upright tall or lying down.
Wherever you choose,
Start to notice the connection between your body and wherever you are sitting or lying down.
Noticing where your feet connects,
Maybe where your back is connected to.
Then just start to notice the breath as we settle in to this position.
Noticing that inhale and exhale.
Taking a moment just to thank yourself for setting aside this time to be still and tune into you.
Let's begin to deepen our breath.
Inhaling slowly through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Two more.
Inhale and exhale.
One more.
Inhale and exhale.
On your next breath,
You may choose to close your eyes or slightly lower your gaze,
Doing whatever feels comfortable in this moment.
Continuing to breathe in this space.
In this space,
As you continue to breathe,
I invite you to bring to mind someone or something that you feel grateful for.
Maybe a friend,
Family member,
Or an object.
This could be someone you maybe saw in passing,
Someone you've maybe known for years.
Just bringing that to your mind.
Breathing in and breathing out.
I offer you to maybe bring to your mind yourself.
Bringing to call on that sense of gratitude and coming back to you.
Coming back to the sense of gratitude toward yourself for taking this time to be here and sit here and turn it to you.
For the next few moments,
Breathing in and out and just focusing on whatever gratitude means for you.
Coming back to the awareness in the body and back to the breath.
Let's take two deep breaths together.
Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
One more.
Inhaling and let's sigh it out.
Coming back to that connection wherever you're sitting or lying down.
Bring the awareness back through your maybe toes.
Bringing the awareness back through your toes,
Your hands.
Coming back.
Knowing that you can come back to this space anytime you need it.
Gently opening the eyes if you had them close and just acknowledging and filling with gratitude toward yourself.
Thank you for joining me today.
