Welcome back.
I hope you find yourself in a safe place.
And relaxing place.
A place where you can let go.
And allow the wind to blow.
To fade away.
So you can just be present here.
In your body.
For a moment.
Feel your breath.
Let it out.
Feel the muscles in your face.
In particular the muscles around your eyes.
Allow them to relax Allow them.
To let go.
And feel your head the tension.
The stress.
All the thoughts of the day.
Feel them begin to melt.
Into dust.
And all that's left.
Here.
Listening.
And soon.
You begin to feel.
You begin to feel the soft sponginess of moss underneath your feet You feel your legs moving Slowly.
As you are.
Across a small clearing.
In a great forest.
Around you,
The trees stretch beyond the horizon.
You can see the night sky above you.
Peeking through the branches of the evergreens The Douglas firs,
The cedars They wave gently.
And before long.
You fine.
That you are walking with.
Winding.
The tree.
The forest feels vibrant.
And alive.
There is no fear here.
You feel safe.
You feel the warmth.
Of an entire world.
Saying welcome.
We are glad you are here.
And as you follow that trail.
It winds around.
Around.
A little room.
And before long,
You come to a fork.
In the trail.
To the right,
You see the trail extend downward.
You can see just barely.
The faint reflection.
The trees in that direction.
And the echo.
Voices laughing.
Bay.
Loving family.
A circle of friends.
The people most important.
And you know that they will welcome you at any time.
But there is a journey that you are intrigued by.
You'll glance to the forecast.
Leading to the left.
This trail is less warm.
It disappears deeper into the forest.
You can hear.
And out.
Calling.
From that direction.
As if in curiosity of what you might know.
And so you begin.
By placing your foot.
Towards the left path.
You will return.
And feel the crinkle of leaves and needles under your feet.
You see the outlines of ferns.
Hugging the path.
And the bright stars above you.
The Milky Way guiding your path.
And as you walk.
You can feel the ferns brushing your arms.
You can smell the clean,
Cool forest air.
And the wind gently kisses your neck.
You can feel your fingers reaching to brush the bar.
Of the trees that you pass.
Each one feels like it vibrates with an energy.
And as you peer at the trees around you.
Walking and winding forward.
You notice a warm light.
Flickering.
Off of the tree.
Far ahead.
Bobs and weaves between the trees.
It seems to know that you're there.
As you stand in the darkness,
You raise your hand as if to wave.
Large motion.
So you walk forward at the invitation.
Until you get closer.
Eyes.
Watching.
This life.
It floats above the ground.
And flits between the trees.
Behind one.
From behind a large tree,
It peeks around and looks at you.
And as you get no more than a few meters away,
You notice.
.
.
That it is no bigger than the palm of your hand.
So you take a step.
Closer.
And in response it darts away.
Farther down the train.
And you step closer.
Walking in pace with the light.
It darts to another tree.
And away.
For you to catch up.
It darts to another tree.
And you follow this pattern.
For what's seen.
Like a small eternity.
You feel Like it is friendly.
But cautious.
Until eventually.
.
.
The trees open up.
To reveal.
A signpost.
And a lantern hanging from a small branch.
The pose.
The light flits.
To the lantern.
And opens a door.
Amen.
Curiously.
It gets inside.
The lantern.
You come closer.
And realize.
That the light inside the lantern.
Isn't fair.
A small being with wings.
Of theory.
It is seated on a small perch.
Waving to you.
And you wave back.
And smile.
In response to seeing you smile,
It claps its hands.
You reach for the lantern.
And it holds up its hands as if to say stop.
And points to the side.
You Glance Up!
And see carvings in the wood.
With a simple question.
In response to seeing the question.
You find yourself feeling.
You wonder.
Why that sign is here.
The middle of this vast forest.
And so you ponder for a moment,
Placing your hand against your chin by love.
You wonder in what circumstances love might be met.
And as you ponder the questions that come in.
The fairy.
Begins to dance within the lantern.
It seems.
To be heard.
By your questions.
It's light flickers.
And falters.
And it seems to be dancing to get your attention.
It holds its arms out.
As if to sing.
The question is simple.
And you look back and read it again.
Do you?
Low.
And you think of.
What love means to you.
And simply say,
Out loud.
Yes.
The word reflects.
And echoes on the trees around you.
It seems to be carrying.
On the breathe.
As a gust rises up.
Blowing the trees around.
Allowing them to sway back and forth.
The carved letters in the signpost begin to glow.
And you hear.
This sound.
Of a deed.
The light from the fairy is strong.
Then ride.
It lights the entire clearing that you stand within.
The fairy seems to wait patiently.
And soon you reach for the lantern.
To grasp the ring.
That holds it.
You pull it off of the branch.
And as you do,
The glow in the words on the sign disappears.
You hold the lantern up towards your face.
And seated on the perch facing you.
Is the fairy.
It crosses its arms.
And looks at you.
And you hear a voice in your mind that says.
.
.
I was worried there for a minute.
I thought I had picked the wrong person.
But I'm glad it turned out.
That you are.
Exactly.
Who I need.
Curiously,
You look at the fairy and say out loud,
How are you talking to me?
And the voice replies.
Oh,
The lantern.
Lets me speak to you.
I don't know how it works,
But.
.
.
It's a nice magic,
Isn't it?
Nod your head.
The fairy then says,
We have a little journey.
There is a deep problem here.
But only you.
Would you help us?
And you say,
Of course.
But how do I get back?
And the fairy replies.
The way back will be easy.
This task is very simple for you.
Even as it is impossible for us.
Soul.
I will tell you the way.
He raised the lantern,
Looking around the clearing.
Realizing that the trail has stopped here.
There is no obvious way forward.
In a direction.
And sins that way.
Between the tree.
You slowly step forward Feeling the trees around you again.
Feeling their presence,
Still.
As if they are watching.
Observing your progress.
You walk slowly.
Carefully over branches.
Healing the dirt.
Before long you realize that this is in fact another path.
But it is not well worn.
Perhaps it was cleared by some other.
For you.
Continuing on.
.
.
The fairy sits in silence.
If you take a wrong turn,
It waves its arms and points a different direction.
You ask?
Where are we going?
And the fairy replies simply the center.
You shrug your shoulders.
Thinking to yourself,
Well.
.
.
It's nice to have a friend.
Soon you can hear.
The faint rumbling.
Water.
It sounds like a waterfall.
Echoing off the tree.
The air gets cooler.
And as you walk,
You begin to hear the faint gears between the trees.
Aren't quite a river.
It winds between the woods.
The banks of the stream.
Overhang the water.
You walk along the edge of the stream.
Until you come to a place where you can bend down.
And take some of the water into your hands.
It is ice cold.
And gives you a shiver.
The fairy says,
You may drink.
This water is the life of the forest.
And so you take some into your hand.
And drink.
Feeling.
Love fill you.
As you do.
Soon you'll stand up.
And walk further.
Belong.
The bank of the stream.
The stream flows.
Faster here.
You sense that it flows.
The fairy says to you.
Keep going.
We are almost there.
And besides.
I know a shortcut.
What kind of shortcut could help you?
Get to the center.
In this old.
And soon your steps stopped.
Almost before you realize the reason why You can feel the wind in your face now.
Below you,
You can see the tops.
Of the forest.
Continuing on into the horizon.
You can see the breeze blowing.
The trees like ripples of water.
As they sway.
Dancing with each other.
You ask out loud.
Is this the shortcut?
I don't want to climb.
You can see the water from the stream.
Flowing over the edge.
Releasing Spray.
That sparkles in the air.
From the stars above.
The cliff itself is jagged and rocky.
And so you ask again.
Is there another way down?
Of course.
The voice replies.
Just.
Follow Me.
So the fairy points along the edge of the cliff face.
Revealing.
In the light.
Tied to a tree.
You hadn't noticed the rope before now.
Almost as if the fairy,
Just by pointing.
Was revealing new ways of seeing.
The rope is tied securely.
To the tree.
With a tight tension that extends.
Far,
Far ahead,
Down into the treeline.
Ahead of you.
And below.
You walk closer.
Noticing.
A wheeled contraption hanging from.
To the tree.
The fairy says,
This zipline.
.
.
Is here for you.
Would you like to go on a ride?
And you nod your head in a marvel.
The rope.
Looks sturdy.
You reach out your hand.
And untie the wheel.
You test your weight.
Rope hanging from it.
As you hold the lantern.
You place your hand through the loop.
At the top.
Allowing it to hang from your arm.
The fairy says.
It's time to leave.
So with a mixture of fear.
And determination.
And excitement.
You hold the rope tightly.
And step up.
Quickly,
The wind begins to blow into your face.
The cliff behind you flies away.
And soon,
You.
Are the one flying.
Over the tips of the trees.
The Milky Way above you.
Feels like a grief.
Vast ocean.
And the silhouettes of the trees below you.
You hear a bell again.
This time.
From a distance away.
And as you float forward.
You notice around you.
Lights.
Warm lights that appear floating above the trees.
Hundreds of fairies surrounding you.
Watching you.
Dancing in the air.
You win.
But before you can see them reply,
The tree lies.
Floats above you.
Obscuring them from view.
You can feel with your outstretched hands.
The branches brushing your fingertips.
You hear the voice again.
They're just here to watch.
They're very excited.
And so.
.
.
You find as you look ahead.
The road.
Finally.
Meets a stump.
And you come to a slow and gentle stop.
Right?
At the edge.
Of a vast.
Clearing.
One that you couldn't see.
From the cliff before.
But here it is.
The air is still.
The forest is quiet now.
As if holding its breath.
You step with the fairy.
Out into the grassy clearing.
There is a launch.
Circular Shit.
To this place.
The very sense there.
The middle.
And in the distance,
You can see the faint glow.
Of something.
You can't quite make out why.
So you walk closer.
Feeling the cool grass under your feet.
Soon,
You reach the center.
And before you stands a rocky wall.
It reflects the stars above with black.
Obsidian.
And on the top of this mound.
Purchase.
A large crystal.
The crystal glows with a song.
It is very,
Very faint.
The fairy says.
What you look upon is the heart.
Of the forest.
It has faded.
Over the years.
Feeling the sadness.
The sorrow.
The forest.
Is not dying.
But it is not thriving.
Either.
We want to thrive again.
So if you take that crystal.
.
.
And find that love in your heart.
You can recharge.
The heart of the forest.
You can bring us closer.
You can save her.
So you reach your hands up.
And take hold of the crystal.
Upon feeling your hands,
The light in the crystal flashes.
And gets slightly stronger.
The Faerie.
Sense.
You see.
It is already working.
Now.
Lift the crystal.
And as you do.
The trees that line the clearing around you.
Sudden.
Spring to life.
The wind blows through them.
They sway.
And dance in the wind.
The grass ripples around you.
And the wind kisses your face.
The very sense.
Luck there.
See the path.
And you do.
You notice a path once again.
That you had not seen before.
The fairy says,
Down that path.
Is a little cottage.
Where you may rest your head.
And in the morning.
Just continue.
On the path.
And it will return you.
From where you came.
It is now with a certain Sadness.
That I must leave you.
And I hope you come back.
The fairy opens the lantern door.
Flits out.
And up.
To hover directly in front of your face.
It flies forward.
And kisses your nose.
Before darting away.
With a clear sound.
Of a bell.
And fade slowly into the sky.
Becoming another star.
Within the Milky Way.
You look down at the glowing crystal in your hand.
And holding it,
You walk towards the path.
Following it between the grass.
The trees continue to dance before you.
Until you reach the treeline.
Ahead of you,
You see the faint glow.
Of a window.
In the dark.
And the outline of a small.
Stone.
And thatched-roof cottage.
You reach the door.
And push it open.
To find a cozy.
.
.
Wood fireplace.
Burning.
With a warm fire.
The bed.
Of straw.
With a quill.
The crosses.
You lay down.
Clutching the crystal.
And soon.
As your head hits your pillow.
Of the memories of the past.
Power.
Begin to fade.
As if from a dream.
But you know it wasn't a dream.
The crystal feels very real.
And it glows softly.
Thank you,
My love.
Sweet dreams.
