Welcome to Take A5,

A collection of meditations dedicated to creating a brief yet meaningful pause in your day.

Give yourself this gift of rest,

Resilience,

Renewal,

And presence whenever you need it most.

Let's begin by taking a deep breath in through the nostrils and gently letting it all go.

Feel the air move in and out,

Grounding you in this present moment.

You've taken this time to pause and to rest.

For that alone,

Be grateful.

Allow yourself to settle into this space of stillness,

Free from distractions.

With each inhale,

Feel your body relax just a little more,

And with each exhale,

Release any tension you might be holding onto.

Gratitude is a simple yet profound force.

It shifts your perspective,

Bringing you into the present and opening your heart to the abundance that already exists.

Bring to mind something that you are grateful for today.

It could be a small moment of kindness,

A warm meal,

Or the simple fact that you have the ability to pause and to breathe.

Whatever it is,

Allow yourself to fully feel the appreciation for it.

Once again,

As you breathe in,

Imagine this gratitude growing within you.

Feel it expand throughout your heart and your chest and outward to every corner of your body.

Let this gratitude fill you with warmth and light.

Now think of another thing that you are grateful for,

Perhaps a person in your life who supports or inspires you.

Letting that thought gently in your mind,

And as you exhale,

Send them your silent appreciation.

Breathing in again,

And letting that gratitude ripple through your entire being,

Knowing that gratitude has the power to uplift you,

Even in the most ordinary moments.

Now taking another revitalizing breath in,

Resting in this state of thankfulness.

Notice how,

As you focus on gratitude,

Any stress or tension begins to melt away.

Gratitude not only helps us recognize the good,

But it also has the power to transform challenges into opportunities for growth.

As we bring this meditation to a close,

Take one final deep breath in through the nostrils,

And a slow,

Steady exhale out.

Carry this feeling of gratitude with you into the rest of your day.

It's always available to you.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes gently,

Knowing you can return to this peaceful state whenever you wish.

Be well and be inspired.
