Hello there.
It's me again,
Your body.
I can feel it.
The heaviness.
The tiredness in the limbs.
It almost feels like lead.
I know you've carried a lot today.
However,
Exhaustion doesn't always feel tangible or tense.
Sometimes it's a dull weight.
Sometimes it's numbness.
Either way,
I'm here with you.
Let's take a breath together.
And if you like,
Exhale with a little sigh.
Now let's feel the bed under us.
The support beneath the back,
The hips,
The legs.
There's nothing you have to hold up right now.
And to let the weight disperse or invite it to transform,
Let's softly scan through my mandala,
The mandala of the body.
Let's begin at the crown of the head.
Just notice the top of the head and let it rest.
Then gently scan downward.
The forehead softening.
The eyes resting in their sockets.
The jaw loosened just a little.
Now the shoulders.
You may like to let them drop just a bit.
The chest.
Allow it to soften with each breath.
The belly,
No need to hold.
Let it rise and fall without effort.
And the legs,
So strong.
They've done their job today and they can be still now.
The feet,
Warm,
Perhaps a little tingly.
Letting go of the day.
Let each breath be like a gentle lullaby for the muscles,
The nerves,
The joints.
With every exhale,
I,
Your body,
Already feel a little lighter.
You don't need to fix anything now.
Let the quiet restore us both.
Sleep will come when it comes.
For now,
We rest.
I love softening together with you.
And this was a beautiful experience.
One in a series.
You're welcome to explore the other bedtime messages whenever you like.
For now,
Just rest.
You've done enough.
Good night.
