Wherever you go and whatever you do,

I am always with you.

When I am gone,

Release me,

Let me go.

I have so many things to see and do.

You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears.

But be thankful we had so many good years.

I gave you my love and you can only guess how much you've given me in happiness.

I thank you for the love that you have shown,

But now it's time I travelled on alone.

So grieve for me a while,

If grieve you must.

Then let your grief be comforted by trust that it is only for a while that we must part.

So treasure the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away for life goes on.

And if you need me,

Call and I will come.

Though you can't see or touch me,

I will be near.

And if you listen with your heart,

You'll hear all my love around you,

Soft and clear.

And then,

When you come this way along,

I'll greet you with a smile and a welcome home.

A beautifully sensitive offering of those words of comfort…heartfelt, sweet, and gently spoken. Very healing in a time of loss…lovely!

My two dogs passed last year and it’s been such hard grief to hold. I miss them so much. This made me think of them. Death is so big, thank you for this poem.

This is beautiful And so eloquently said! Yesterday was the one year anniversary of my dad’s death. All the firsts… We survived. However, yesterday was a heavy day filled with emotion and tears. So nothing more fitting than this meditation this morning! May he be watching over me , may I make him proud. Namaste.

This was a beautiful reminder of my grandparents who have passed, but also a reminder that they are still with me. Thank you.

Thank you 🙏. This one felt a bit confusing to me as I first thought of it as my angels saying it to me. Then there was a shift when the poem talked about the need for leaving . At that point I thought it was me saying it to my ex boyfriend because the things said resonated better when I’m context to how I feel about that past relationship. Than at the end it shifted again when the poem talked about that person coming back home and me being waiting with opened arms. That didn’t resonate at all with me. It was confusing . Letting it go, sending love and wishing well but at the end wating for it with open arms just doesn’t make sense to me. Thanks for opening up the questioning . Much love Carol
