Just take a comfortable seat.

Lean back just a little bit to feel your weight on your sitting bones,

Okay?

You can keep your eyes closed or just focus your gaze softly on a little area,

On a small area on the ground.

With the next inhale,

Lengthen through the sides,

The front and back of the body.

With an exhale,

Just relax your shoulders and your face.

Notice the voices you hear,

The taste in your mouth,

The touch on your skin of your clothes or the temperature of the room.

Notice whatever vision is available for you.

Maybe you see the darkness behind your eyelids or you notice the details on the floor.

Feel the size of the body.

Feel the weight of the body.

Sitting still,

You may notice the breath brings some sort of a movement to your body.

You may notice the breath coming in and out.

How do you know that you're breathing?

Is it the expansion of your torso,

Of your belly,

Or is it the soft breeze in your nose and going without changing,

Without slowing it down,

Or without extending it?

Just observe your breath as it is right now for a couple of moments.

Bring your palms together,

The palms touching.

Take your hands in front of your chest just to support and lift the chest a little bit,

Just to get ready to start again.

With the inhale,

Lengthen.

With an exhale,

Drop your head to your heart,

Bow your head to your heart.

Close your eyes firmly and notice the darkness.

Open your eyes towards yourself.

Lift the head,

Release the hands.
