Hi,
I'm Erin Lashley.
I'm an accredited EFT practitioner.
And today we're going to do some tapping together to help you clear overwhelm.
So what I want you to do first is to check in with yourself and see how you're feeling today.
And I want you to rate the scale of stress or overwhelm out of 10.
So 10 being incredibly high,
Zero being not high at all.
Just want you to think on what that number is for a moment.
Might be a five,
Might be a seven,
Might be a 10 out of 10.
And once you've decided on that number,
We're going to start tapping.
So first,
Let's start by tapping on the side of the hand,
Taking a deep breath in together.
And release,
Let it go.
And then repeating after me,
Even though right now I feel really overwhelmed.
I'm feeling this overwhelm in my body.
I'm feeling it in my mind.
But I acknowledge how I feel right now.
And I love and accept myself anyway.
Let's repeat that again,
Even though I'm feeling all of this overwhelm.
I'm feeling it in my body.
I'm feeling it in my mind Feeling really,
Really overwhelmed right now.
But I'm open to moving through this.
And I love and accept myself.
Final time even though I'm feeling all of this overwhelm.
Feeling it in my body.
So much on my plate right now.
But I acknowledge all of this emotion.
And how I feel.
And I love and accept myself anyway.
Good,
Going to the top of the head now on our first tapping point.
All of this overwhelm that I feel.
Eyebrow point,
Feeling it in my body now.
Side of the eye I don't really know where to start I'm not really sure what I need to do.
Under the nose because there's so many things on my plate right now.
Under the mouth and it's so overwhelming.
Collarbone point part of me is feeling really anxious.
Really worried.
Really stressed out.
And I'm holding all of this emotion.
This weight of this overwhelm.
In my body under the arm,
Feeling all this tension in my body.
Onto the ribs just here.
Feeling really overwhelmed.
Top of the head let's keep going but it's safe for me to acknowledge how overwhelmed I feel.
Eyebrow point because the truth is there is a lot on my plate right now.
Side of the eye but maybe I can start.
To reduce this stress I'm feeling.
Under the eye to let go of some of this overwhelm.
Under the nose to let go of some of this worry.
Under the mouth.
This panic.
Collarbone point all of this overwhelm that I feel right now.
Really starting to shift this overwhelm.
Open to reducing this tension I'm feeling.
Noticing where overwhelm has been living in my body.
And with every tap.
I reduce this stress.
I start to feel clearer.
I'm letting go of this overwhelm.
And the arm.
Really been weighing me down.
But I'm open to moving through it now.
Onto the ribs all this overwhelm.
Safe to let it go.
Take a deep breath in.
Let it go.
Give yourself a shake.
Let's have a pause just for a second.
I want you to tune back into that sense of overwhelm that you were feeling.
Maybe it was a 10,
Maybe it was an 8,
Maybe it was a 5 or a 4,
Whatever it was.
Close down the eyes for a moment.
Tune back into that overwhelm and just see what you're noticing.
Is there another motion there?
Is there a thought?
Are things starting to feel a bit clearer?
What we're going to do now is move into some positive rounds of tapping to affirm what we want to call in.
You want a sense of clarity.
You want to feel confident.
You want to feel focused.
You want to feel ready to attack whatever is there on your plate.
If you're still feeling a little bit of stress,
I encourage you to go back and do the first couple of rounds.
So that you can really get that overwhelm down before we go into the positive and start grounding in how we want to feel.
That's really important.
So going to the top of the head if you feel ready,
Taking a deep breath in.
And releasing letting go.
I'm acknowledging that I'm shifting out of this overwhelm now eyebrow point things are starting to feel a lot clearer.
Side of the eye,
This remaining overwhelm.
I'm letting it go now.
Under the nose.
This overwhelm has really been weighing me down.
Under the mouth it's been making it hard to focus.
Moving to the collarbone point.
But it's safe for me to let it go.
And I'm noticing now that I'm starting to feel less overwhelmed.
I'm starting to feel clearer.
I'm starting to feel more relaxed.
And I'm having all of these little ideas and thoughts pop in.
Of what I need to do next.
Under the arm I'm starting to feel less overwhelmed.
Onto the ribs.
I'm feeling grounded.
Top of the head and things are feeling a lot clearer now.
So I'm choosing now.
To shift out any remaining overwhelm.
Side of the eye any remaining stress.
Clearing it out of my system right now.
Under those so that I can move forward.
Under the mouth in fact I'm really ready to finish this meditation color bone point because I'm feeling clear and calm.
I don't feel overwhelmed anymore So I'm shifting any remaining energy.
Emotion.
Feelings.
Or thought.
That was making me feel overwhelmed.
Take a deep breath in here as we tap.
And let it go,
The big sigh.
Under the arm,
It's safe for me to move forward.
Onto the ribs,
Letting go of this overwhelm,
Feeling grounded.
And more.
Peace.
Good take a deep breath in.
Let it go.
Maybe place a hand on the heart or the belly,
Wherever feels grounding for you.
And you clear that overwhelm.
I encourage you to do some journaling.
To just get any other thoughts out that you need to.
And then I really encourage you to go and take some action and move forward with your day.
Big love to you and come tap again with me soon.
Bye.
