
EFT Tapping For Procrastination And Finding Focus
This EFT Tapping meditation is designed to help you if you're stuck in the energy of procrastination. If you're feeling resistant to taking action or getting something done, or if you're putting something off - it's time to get started! If you've been feeling stuck, you can use this meditation in the moment to clear this resistance so that you can move forward with focus and ease.

Welcome to this EFT tapping meditation designed to help you clear the energy of procrastination,
The resistance you might be feeling to taking action,
To getting something done,
Maybe you've been putting something off for a while and it's time to finally get started.
If you've been feeling stuck you can use this meditation in the moment to help clear this resistance so that you can move forward.
Before we begin I suggest that you take a couple of moments to write a few notes down about what it is that you are procrastinating on at the moment.
It could be that there's something that you need to do for work,
A household task that you've been putting off or a conversation that needs to be had.
Whatever it is it can be easy to put things off that make us feel uncomfortable but by acknowledging how we're feeling,
What it is that we want to do and how we'd rather be feeling,
We can begin to let go and move forward with ease.
As well as writing down what it is that you're procrastinating on at the moment,
Make sure you also note down any emotions you might be feeling.
Are you feeling frustrated,
Sick of yourself,
Doubtful or maybe just a bit sad that you're stuck in this cycle.
Whatever it is write it down and acknowledge it as we tap through the points.
Also notice anywhere that this energy of procrastination and resistance is sitting in your body.
You might feel some tension in your shoulders,
Perhaps you feel the heaviness in your chest.
Acknowledge what it is and notice as we tap through if this feeling or sensation in the body begins to shift.
Once you've acknowledged everything that's coming up for you,
Let's get started.
We're going to begin by tapping very gently on the side of the hand,
The karate chop point.
All you'll need to do as we move through this meditation is repeat after me.
Tapping on the side of the hand,
Even though I'm procrastinating from doing this task,
I really should be doing it now.
But I'm so unfocused.
I choose to love and accept myself anyway.
Even though I'm procrastinating I just can't get motivated and I'm feeling a bit stuck.
I'm feeling all of this emotion,
This resistance in my body but I'm acknowledging this now and I choose to love and accept myself anyway.
Even though I wish I could just get this done,
I've been putting it off.
I'm procrastinating.
It's really frustrating and I can't seem to move forward.
I acknowledge how I feel.
I'm open to letting this resistance go and I choose to love and accept myself.
Really good.
Moving to the top of the head,
Repeating after me.
I'm procrastinating.
Eyebrow point.
There's this thing that I want to do but I'm feeling so stuck.
Side of eye.
I'm feeling all of this resistance to doing what I need to do.
Under the eye.
I'm so sick of myself.
Under the nose.
I'm so frustrated with myself.
Under the mouth and I feel this in my body,
All of these emotions.
Collarbone point.
This resistance to doing what I need to do or what I should be doing.
I'm procrastinating.
I just can't seem to do it.
I feel really demotivated.
Under the arm.
I wonder why I'm feeling all of this resistance.
Onto the ribs.
I'm feeling so stuck and I just can't stop procrastinating.
Moving back to the top of the head.
All of this overwhelm when I think about all the things I should be doing.
Eyebrow point.
I feel frustrated and a little bit restless.
Side of the eye.
I keep distracting myself and procrastinating.
Under the eye and that makes me feel all of this overwhelm in my body.
Under the nose.
This lack of motivation.
All of this resistance.
Under the mouth.
Maybe I could start to let this go.
Collarbone point.
But I can't focus.
I feel overwhelmed.
Just take a really deep breath in here as you tap on the collarbone point.
Repeating after me.
Maybe I can start to release this resistance to getting started.
Under the arm.
This remaining overwhelm I'm feeling.
Onto the ribs.
I'm choosing now to release this overwhelm.
Maybe it's safe for me to begin.
Moving to the top of the head.
I acknowledge all of this fear that I'm holding on to.
Eyebrow point.
This fear it's keeping me stuck.
Side of eye.
This fear about failing.
This fear of being rejected.
Under the eye.
This fear of being misunderstood.
Under the nose.
Maybe I can start to let this go.
Under the mouth.
Maybe I can find a way to move forward despite this fear.
Collarbone point.
Sometimes it's quite overwhelming.
This fear I've been feeling.
It's keeping me stuck.
I've been feeling all of this resistance.
But I'm choosing now to slowly release this resistance.
This resistance to doing this task.
I'm willing and ready to let go of this procrastination.
Moving to under the arm.
I've been feeling stuck but now I'm feeling freer.
I'm starting to see the possibilities.
Onto the ribs.
I'm releasing this remaining resistance and I'm releasing anything lingering that's holding me back and keeping me stuck.
Good.
Dropping the hands.
Taking a moment to take a few breaths in.
Tuning into the body.
Noticing how you're feeling.
Noticing those emotions that were coming up for you before we started tapping.
Any feelings in the body.
Just seeing if they've shifted or reduced.
Now tuning into the body.
Notice if you still feel that resistance to taking action.
You can go back and repeat as many rounds as you need before you're starting to feel a little looser.
A little more open to taking action.
A little bit more motivated.
Just stick with where you're at.
But if you are starting to feel a little freer.
A little more focused and ready to take action.
We're going to close this meditation with a positive round.
Affirming that we are ready to move forward.
So just start tapping again on the side of the hand if you're ready to keep going.
And take a really deep grounding breath here.
Enjoying the new sensations in your body.
Repeating after me as we tap on the side of the hand.
Even though I was feeling so stuck.
I have so much more clarity now.
And I choose to love and accept myself.
Even though I couldn't stop procrastinating.
It was so hard for me to focus.
I'm feeling more focused now.
And I choose to love,
Honor and accept myself.
Even though I was feeling stuck.
I couldn't get motivated.
I'm feeling motivated now.
And I choose to deeply and completely love and accept myself.
Good.
Moving to the top of the head.
I'm choosing now to release this remaining resistance that was keeping me stuck.
Eyebrow point.
I'm feeling more focused and I'm ready to move forward.
Side of the eye.
It's safe for me to sit down and focus.
Under the eye.
It's safe for me to take action right now.
Under the nose.
I feel clear and calm.
It is safe for me to do this thing.
Under the mouth.
And I'm releasing any lingering belief that I'm stuck.
Or that there's more I need to do before I'm ready.
Collarbone.
I'm choosing now to release any remaining overwhelm or doubt.
Under the arm.
So that I can move forward.
Onto the ribs.
I'm feeling more at peace.
So much more focused.
And I'm ready to take action.
Beautiful.
You can stop tapping.
Close down the eyes.
Take a few deep breaths in.
And just notice how you're feeling.
When you look at that list of the things that you have been wanting to do but haven't been able to do.
You've been putting off.
Noticing how you're feeling now.
And if you can feel that resistance has lessened.
I encourage you to go take action right now.
And just know that you can come back to this meditation anytime that that fear or overwhelm or resistance begins to prop back up.

Really helpful and effective EFT practice that I will continue to return to! It helped to write down what has been enforcing my resistance and the feelings connected before starting. I highly recommend this practice for anyone else struggling to want or need to begin something to move into "actively" beginning doing it. 🙏🏼
