Meditation Timer OnlineErica first began meditating in 1995, after overcoming great difficulty in her adolescence. In addition to personal meditation practice, she began formal training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) in 2009. She spent a year living with the Dagara people of West Africa and later studied and apprenticed with Dagara Elder, Malidoma Somé. Her meditation style largely focuses on the healing elements of nature. Erica works as a licensed professional clinical counselor in private practice and uses creative and empowering methods to evoke client-centered transformation and that provide individuals, couples, and families with tools to take away with and use over their lifetime.
