Welcome,
My name is Emily from Emily Rose Yoga and I'm going to guide you through a short,
It's about eight minutes,
A breath and body check-in.
You can do this maybe first thing in the morning when you wake up or at any time during the day when you need to invite in some more presence.
So you can start by finding a comfortable seat or if you prefer to you might like to stand.
And if you're on a chair,
Feel your feet flat onto the floor.
And try to lift up through your spine so you're not collapsing too much into the back of the chair unless you need it's support today.
Take a moment as you feel the support of the ground or the chair underneath you.
Just to notice how you're feeling.
If there's any area of the physical body that's calling out to you.
Whether you're feeling tired or full of vitality today.
And then we'll start to check in a little more deeply throughout the body.
And so starting by bringing your focus into your face and your eyes,
The skin of the face.
Noticing what sensations you might feel there.
It's feeling the area around the jaw and the mouth.
Whether there's any tension.
We're not necessarily trying to change anything here.
It's simply a check in so that you bring your awareness in.
