The corona virus pandemic has caused a lot of heartache and anxiety around the world. This meditation is designed to help ground the listener so they can rationalise their fears and therefore deal with COVID 19 in a positive way. The idea of this meditation is to validate youre feeling so they don't have so much control over you. Its natural to feel what you are feeling right now but its unhealthy to think that we have no control right now. Realise your power.

The coronavirus pandemic has been a hard time for everyone around the world.

Whoever you are,

I empathize with you.

The virus has affected every single person on this planet in one way,

Shape or form.

That's why it's important that during these times we make sure that we stay grounded and present in order for us to get through this hard time.

Stress and anxiety is a natural byproduct of what we're all going through right now.

Everyone is struggling in their own way.

Right now you have permission to let go.

Give yourself permission to be free from what's stressing you during these times.

The beauty with human beings is our ability to adapt during stressful times.

Throughout history our environment has always changed in one way,

Shape or form.

And the reason that we've survived through millions and millions of years of evolution is because of the power of adaption.

So I want you to really just embody that feeling of power.

Feel empowered in this present moment here and now.

Be proud of who you are and the very fact that you are here in this moment.

That's a success story in itself.

So I want you to begin this meditation with a sense of pride.

Breathe easy in through your nose and out through your mouth.

COVID-19 is temporary.

Things are hard right now but they won't always be this way.

Yes human beings are gonna have to learn and adapt slightly but this period of hardship is only temporary.

Eventually human beings will overcome as we have always done in the past.

Realize this here and now.

Breathe easy in through your nose and out through your mouth.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

This time is your time to unwind,

To let go,

To release yourself from the anxiety and stress that comes with the coronavirus pandemic.

There's a bright future ahead for you and everyone on this planet.

It's hard to see that when you're in the thick of it but there is.

After a hurricane always comes a rainbow.

And know that you are strong enough to get through this.

Remind yourself of that sense of empowerment,

That pride of being a human being,

Your ability to adapt and overcome.

Millions and millions of years of lessons from your ancestors literally are inside you,

In your genes,

In your DNA.

Feel proud and breathe in this present moment in through your nose and out through your mouth.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

In through your nose and out through your mouth.

Every feeling that you have gone through since the beginning of the outbreak are valid.

Validate those feelings.

Often we try to fight them like,

Oh why am I going through this?

Why do I have to deal with it like this?

Why can't I be strong?

Why can't I?

Don't wish for anything else.

That's okay.

That's absolutely fine.

Every single feeling of anger,

Animosity,

Worry,

Doubt,

All these feelings are completely valid.

Be at peace with that.

Don't fight for anything else,

Just be understanding and gentle with yourself.

Let go of those negative attachments you've been holding on to.

It's not serving you.

Things aren't going to be easy right away.

There are still some hard times ahead,

But know this,

You are capable of getting through this.

And if you give yourself this time every single day,

Even if it's five to ten minutes,

Then you'll realize that actually you can handle things.

You just need to give yourself time to remind yourself this.

So breathe easy.

Breathe easy.

I don't know you,

But I'm proud of you.

If you're here listening to this meditation right now,

Then I'm so proud of you.

You are making a conscious effort to try and improve yourself.

You're trying to feel better.

And trust me,

By taking those steps towards feeling better,

Towards better mental health,

Towards self-improvement,

Then you are on the right path.

So you can rest well tonight and know that you are heading in the right direction.

You should be proud of yourself.

I want you to think of your blessings right now.

Pandemic has hit us hard,

Yes.

We've suffered casualties.

We've had to change,

Adapt.

But for some of the things that we've lost,

We've also gained other things.

An understanding of ourselves more.

A realization that being together is the most important thing in our lives.

With separation comes togetherness.

Think about your family and friends that are in your life right now.

Think about the laughter that is to come.

Think about the blessings you have if you have clean drinking water,

Food on the table,

A home,

A job,

Anything that you have that you can be grateful for.

Be grateful for.

I'll give you a minute just to think about your blessings.

Breathe easy in through your nose and out through your mouth.

If you're struggling in the future after this meditation,

Remember just focus on your breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Don't over complicate things and go down the rabbit holes of your mind.

Just allow yourself to breathe.

That's all you have to focus on.

Give yourself a few minutes of doing so and I promise you you'll be feeling much better afterwards.

So thank you for meditating today and remember this is only temporary and you should be proud of everything you've overcome so far.
