Welcome beautiful soul.

I invite you to settle into a comfortable position,

Allowing your body to soften and your breath to slow.

This meditation is a space of compassion created for you to reconnect with your inner child,

That tender part of you that still carries the echoes of unmet needs,

Unspoken fears,

And the longing for unconditional love.

So often we grow up believing we must push past pain or silence the vulnerable parts of ourselves,

But healing asks something different of us.

It asks us to turn towards those tender places with kindness,

Patience,

And care.

Honoring your inner child means recognizing that what you needed then still lives within you now.

The need to be seen,

To be safe,

To be loved without condition.

And while we cannot go back and change the past,

We can become the loving presence we always longed for.

As we move through this meditation together,

I invite you to approach yourself with gentleness.

There is no right way to do this.

Simply allow your breath,

Your imagination,

And your heart to guide you back to that sacred connection within.

Take a deep breath in,

And exhale slowly.

And let's begin.

Close your eyes,

If that feels comfortable.

Take a slow breath in through your nose,

And exhale gently through your mouth.

Again,

Inhale,

Letting your belly soften and expand,

And exhale,

Releasing any tension in your body.

Notice the weight of your body being supported by the chair,

The floor,

Or the earth beneath you.

With each breath,

Feel yourself settling more fully into this moment.

Imagine roots gently extending from the base of your spine and the soles of your feet deep into the earth,

Strong,

Steady,

Holding you in love and safety.

Now,

In your mind's eye,

See yourself walking along a gentle path.

Up ahead,

You notice a small child.

This child is you,

Your younger self,

Carrying all the feelings,

Hopes,

And fears you once held.

Take a moment to see them clearly,

Their face,

Their posture,

The way they look at you.

Notice what they might be feeling,

Perhaps sadness,

Maybe loneliness,

Or maybe they're simply longing to be seen.

Walk toward this child with tenderness.

Kneel down in front of them and gently open your arms,

Inviting them to come closer,

To rest in your embrace because they know you and they know that you are there to protect and comfort them.

As you envelop them in your arms,

Whisper to them,

I see you,

I hear you,

You are safe with me.

Now,

As you hold this inner child,

Begin to offer them the words they always needed to hear.

You are loved exactly as you are.

You are safe now.

It's okay to rest.

It's okay to feel loved.

It's okay to be happy.

I will never leave you.

I am here always with unconditional love.

Let these affirmations sink in,

Not only for your inner child,

But also for the present day you who deserves this love.

Slowly imagine placing a gentle hand over your heart.

Feel its steady rhythm reminding you that love flows within you.

Thank your inner child for showing up today,

For trusting you.

Let them know they can always come back into your arms anytime they need comfort.

Picture the child slowly merging into your heart space,

Their light joining yours,

No longer alone,

But forever loved.

Take one last deep breath,

Inhaling love and exhaling peace.

And when you're ready,

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,

Softly open your eyes and return to the present moment,

Carrying this love with you.

Remember,

You are both the child who needed more and the loving parent who can now provide it.

Namaste.
