Welcome to this practice for meeting your true nature,

To help you live your life more authentically and with self compassion.

I am your guide and I will shortly be taking you through a sequence that brings together yoga nidra techniques with coaching techniques so that whilst you're in the hypnagogic yoga nidra state,

You are reaching your intuition and subconscious to receive information from your true,

Authentic nature.

If you feel drawn to deepening your practice today,

Gather a journal and pen now,

As I will be providing a journal prompt at the end of the practice so that you can freely gather insights from your subconscious whilst your brainwaves are still slow.

Before we start,

I'd like to invite you to subscribe so you get early access to my new yoga nidra practices.

Close down the eyes now and take a slow inhale through your nose,

As much as feels comfortable,

Feeling the temperature of the air as it moves through your nostrils and exhales out your mouth.

Breathe like this again,

A slow,

Deep inhale,

Visualise the air moving up through your nostrils and let out an audible exhale out through your mouth.

Inhale into the release as you exhale,

And intentionally soften any parts of your body that feel tense as you exhale.

Try this again,

A slow inhale through the nose and an audible sigh out through your mouth.

Drift your attention down from your breath into your heart centre now,

Feel into the sensations within your heart centre as you breathe naturally without changing a thing,

Sensing into this vast,

Open and receptive space.

As you feel into your heart space,

Ask yourself,

What brought you here today?

This is your sankalpa or intention for the practice.

Relate it to a supportive I or I am statement,

Or simply feel the sense of your intention,

It doesn't need to be represented by words.

Here is a sankalpa that might resonate with you today,

I embrace my unique self and express myself with authenticity.

Take another moment to allow your sankalpa to fully form.

Place your sankalpa onto your heart centre and sense it absorbing deeply into your essence.

We're now going to do a rotation of consciousness,

As I name each body part,

Try to build the sense of all the sensations and energy within each part without judgement or needing to change these sensations,

Simply watch them with curiosity and openness to the experience that they are offering you today.

Drift your awareness to the toes on your left foot,

Feel the sensation in each toe together on your left foot,

Add to your awareness the toes on your right foot,

Feeling all your toes together now,

Slowly move your awareness up to the soles of both feet,

Both heels,

Both ankles,

Calves,

Knees,

Thighs.

Drift your attention from your thighs up to the left side of your pelvic bowl all the way over to the right side of your pelvic bowl,

Feel your whole pelvis and hips together,

Sense now both your lower back and the front of your navel centre together in your awareness.

Lower back and navel centre together,

Both sides of your chest,

Your heart centre,

Left shoulder and all the sensations here in your left shoulder,

Right shoulder,

Left arm,

Right arm,

Both hands together,

Both thumbs and any sensations you can sense as you hold your attention on both thumbs,

All of your fingers together on both hands,

Drift your attention back to your heart centre now,

Both collarbones,

Centre of your throat,

Jaw,

Cheekbones,

Both eyelids and the sensations of flickering behind the eyelids,

Your nose and the air going in through each nostril,

Third eye centre between your eyebrows and the top of your head,

Rest your attention here now on the top of your head,

Release your attention now and visualise being in a peaceful and inviting environment,

It may be a forest by the sea or cosy indoors,

Go with whatever your intuition guides you towards first,

Build a picture of where you are in relation to this space,

Are you stood up,

Are you sat on something,

Take a moment to build a sense of this in your mind,

Are there any sounds or smells in this scene that feel peaceful and comforting,

Invite them in now,

Now call in your true authentic self to be a reassuring presence in this scene,

You may wish to whisper in your mind's eye,

I call in my true self now,

Watch as they appear in your peaceful environment and watch as your true nature moves closer towards you,

Their presence is more reassuring and comforting as they get closer,

Build a picture of how they walk towards you and what's their facial expression,

Feel the sense of familiarity and warmth as your true nature greets you here,

Allow your true nature to settle into this environment with you now,

Their presence peaceful and compassionate,

Sense the deep knowing that your true self is here to support and guide you,

I invite you to ask yourself your true nature a question now,

Allow the message to come through in whichever way feels intuitive,

Without changing or forcing anything,

Simply watch or listen to whatever comes to you when you ask this question,

It may take the form of words,

Symbols or simply an intuitive knowing,

You may not hear anything yet and that is okay,

Trust that the message will come for you when your timing is right,

Ask your true nature this question,

What do I need to know to live more in tune with my authenticity?

If any more questions have come to your mind,

Ask your true nature these questions now,

Allowing the response to unfold exactly how it's meant to,

Allow yourself to receive the wisdom from your true nature with an open heart and consider is there anything else you would like from your true nature in this moment,

Allow your true nature in whatever way is intuitive to provide you with reassurance that you can access this true self wisdom or ask questions of your true nature whenever you need them,

This is a resource that is always available to you,

Always there waiting for you to tune in,

Waiting to provide support,

Clarity or guidance.

Feel into a deep appreciation now for the connection that you've had with your true nature today,

You might find it intuitive to whisper in your mind's eye,

Thank you and visualise your gratitude being placed onto your true self,

Gently release your focus from the visualisation,

Whenever you're ready place your attention onto your heart centre and any sensations you feel in this space,

Allow your experience to integrate here in your heart centre,

With part of your attention remaining on your heart centre bring back your sankalpa and repeat it in your mind's eye,

I embrace my unique self and express myself with authenticity.

Feel your sankalpa reverberating all around your body,

Spreading a soothing reassuring effect all around your body,

Trust your intuition of where your sankalpa goes next and allow it to absorb into your entire being,

And when you're ready,

In your mind's eye,

Whisper I am practicing yoga nidra,

And with your eyes still closed feel the grounding of the support beneath you,

And begin to focus in on the sounds around you or my voice,

Gently allowing yourself to become aware of your surroundings,

Move in whichever way feels wakeful to you,

Slowly,

With lightness and ease,

When you're ready open your eyes and allow them to adjust back into your waking life,

Taking your time here,

Whilst you're adjusting notice how you feel now,

If you have found benefits from this practice you can revisit it daily as new insights arise each time you practice,

And if you are deepening your practice with journaling,

Or simply wish to reflect,

You can use the following prompt to free write or freely think and reflect on,

Ask yourself,

What are some beliefs that I hold about myself or my life that don't truly resonate anymore with my true nature?

What are some beliefs that I hold about myself or my life that don't truly resonate anymore with my true nature?

Simply noticing your beliefs is enough to start transforming them,

But you may find it powerful to intentionally say to yourself,

I allow my true nature to show me today why this belief is untrue and it is safe to release.

I hope you found value in this practice today,

A positive and spiritual morning practice, I really enjoyed the visualisations. I sensed the alignment, which is what I needed. I'll definitely return to it again.
