Thank you for joining me by showing up for yourself in stillness.

Start by aligning your spine in a seated position or lying down.

Take a moment to make sure you are as comfortable as possible.

Adjust in any way needed.

This practice is what we make it.

If you want to stop now to light a candle or incense do so and then join us again.

This ritual is something that is yours and yours alone.

It's something to comfort and soothe,

Something to look forward to.

Having a morning ritual has completely changed everything for me and it is with this soothing smell of dragon's blood and vanilla that I can enter into my inner world.

Let us start by taking a long and slow breath in and releasing it one more time and now let us cultivate an intention for our practice.

Put one hand on your heart and feel what you need in this moment.

Do not think too long.

Intuitively tap into what your heart is telling you and nurture this.

Is something weighing heavy?

Is there something you can release?

Is presence a focus?

Joy?

Keep a quiet attention on this intention throughout the practice.

We are constantly in a stage of becoming,

Of growth,

A shedding of layers,

Of transformation.

In listening to what our bodies are telling us we can enter into the joy and journey of learning to love ourselves from the inside out and by having this awareness we can learn to cultivate compassion for ourselves and to ground into our deepest and best selves.

For a long time I ran to the ends of the earth in search of myself when all the while what I was looking for was here all along.

I focused too much on my outside instead of looking inwards.

On looking the part instead of being the part.

In looking inwards with curiosity without judgment I have and continue to learn about myself daily.

I can tap into where I am at in that moment.

What is important to me?

What I need to focus on and bring energy to?

There is a reason meditation is called a practice and not something that is to be done right or wrong.

By showing up for ourselves we are unlocking the key of all that is to come.

It is not about quieting our minds completely or right away but about learning to sit with our thoughts and feelings.

To watch them pass as we would clouds passing in the sky without grabbing hold.

It is in these moments that I've learned that my feelings won't kill me.

Rumi once said the cure for the pain is in the pain.

In fleeing these realities it only prolongs the inevitable.

It's okay to feel,

To grieve,

Long for,

Dream of and know that being sensitive to life is a gift.

A gift to be generous of spirit,

To connect and relate in our pain and breathe through it all.

Today I am capable to let go and allow myself instead of being emotionally driven to be spiritually led.

This practice is about being gentle on ourselves and recognizing that this is all about the journey not the destination.

In the stage of becoming is a recognition of the ability to recognize the impermanence of our thoughts and feelings and work towards being the best versions of ourselves.

There is no perfect end goal just an ability to keep lovingly keep trying to go deeper in this search.

By focusing on what could have been different in the past or fear of the future we remove ourselves from this moment.

With this work we are given more of an ability to recognize when we lose sight of now.

These days I have tools to come back into the present moment with breath with grounding into my surroundings and knowing that I am safe to feel and be here now.

Here we can let go of these fears that hold us back from our inherent truth and from doing all the things that are waiting for us on the other side.

This self-empowerment allows for endless possibilities of confidence in our beliefs,

Pause in our lives,

And patience in ourselves.

What is something that you hope to explore more in your life?

Call to mind something you have wanted to do but have held yourself back from.

How can you cultivate this into your consciousness?

What are the steps you can make to make this dream a reality?

Someone dear in my life once said to me to keep my head in the clouds feet on the ground.

How can you continue to dream while grounding into what is?

These steps allow us to venture into the stage of becoming who we were meant to be.

The sky is the limit so dream big.

Until next time.
