Earth Energy Meditation

This meditation is a beautiful, nourishing Earth Energy Meditation. Use this meditation to recharge with exactly the perfect elixir that only Mother Nature can provide. In this meditation, you’ll remember you’re a precious creation birthed from the great creator, Mother Earth. Her nourishment is always available; you just need to drink deeply.
I have been hiking all of my life, but until last year, I had never thought about Earth Energy as a thing, a concept, and certainly not something to drink. I had never known the power of visualization; that I could visualize Earth Energy and connect to it whether I was actually in nature or a million miles away from something green. Even though hiking is still a favorite pursuit, I connect to the energy of nature more often than not by sitting on my meditation cushion.
I am no less a hiker, but I’m more in touch with the nourishing, grounding, beautiful earth energy all around.

Okay, This is earth energy meditation Offered to you by Emily Martin So just go ahead and get comfortable find yourself in an upright position Or you could be lying down if that feels better for you and your back Just get somewhere comfortable where you can be for the next 15 to 20 minutes And once you have found your comfortable seat just Take a few deep breaths And congratulate yourself for showing up for giving yourself this time For arriving on the cushion for taking care of yourself I Want you to go ahead and imagine some kind of connection between your sit bones and the earth So it could be golden cord. It could be a tree root Could be a waterfall just something that grounds you That connects you into Mother Earth and have that image And come to mind and have it come off of your sit bones And travel down into the earth And if you want to you can even anchor it into the center of the earth like connect it into a point in the center of the earth And this is called your grounding cord And there's other grounding meditations that I offer in more depth on that But set your grounding and make sure whatever image you're using make sure it's as wide as your sit bones so as wide as your hips So it really is anchoring you into the earth And I want you to take a few deep breaths and imagine just any tension or negativity That's in your body or in your mind any worries anxieties pain On your out breath just send those thoughts and that tension down Into the earth to be recycled Composted burnt up whatever image you best like But that negativity and that tension just goes off your body into the grounding cord Then it just gets swept away, There's no need to hold on to it Now we're going to Find ourselves In our minds, I want you to go To Your favorite place in nature or the place in nature at this moment in time. That's beckoning you Maybe it's someplace you've only dreamt about Maybe it's your backyard. Maybe you go there every year for a certain holiday Go to that place in nature that is beckoning you and calling you that would feel Really nourishing for you I'll take a moment to find that place in nature When you have it I Want you to place yourself there, So maybe you are In a sunny spot and you can be barefoot and sitting on the hot sand or maybe you're swimming Wherever you are, Whatever you're doing Start to really imagine being in that location. What does it? Feel like what is the air feel like? On your skin What sounds do you hear are there birds is there a waterfall? What do you hear when you're in this place I Take a look around Behind you all around you. What is this place? What do you what do your eyes land on? And just imagine fully being in that place And I want you to imagine Now I want you to fully imagine That the earth energy can literally Move up through the soles of your three feet Through the chakras at the bottom of your feet into your body So take that earth energy Maybe imagine it as a color Maybe imagine it as a color if that place were a color If the energy the resonance the frequency Of that place were a color What color would it be? And once you have that color Drink that color up through the soles of your feet Into your calves and your shins Up into your knees and your thighs Let it seep into your buttocks and your pelvis and your womb And bring it up into your lower belly just at or below your belly button at your navel And just keep drinking that earth energy in the form of that color Just create a continual Continuous stream of energy in through the soles of your feet And when it gets up into your belly Let it sit there And fill you up and nourish you it is like the perfect elixir for you it's like mother nature Is giving you the perfect smoothie? That your body needs now Has all the macro nutrients and micronutrients? All those little things that your pores and your cells have been craving And that earth energy just pours into you And once it's sat in your belly Let it Recycle Back down through your grounding connection. So let it Sink down through your sits bones Down your grounding cord, Whatever it was back into mother earth And then drink more up through the soles of your feet so you've basically created A little energetic circuit of beautiful nourishing grounding earth energy You're drawing it up through your feet into your legs into your thighs Into your pelvis and then you're letting it ground back down to mother earth And then you're drinking up again And you're cycling through So let's sit together in silence for a few minutes Drinking deeply of this beautiful nourishing earth energy Which is there for us at any time that we choose to tap in And experience it In our final moments together Take a few deep breaths where you're inhaling through your nose And exhaling through your mouth As you exhale You can release any negativity back down your grounding cord As you inhale you can breathe in that beautiful nourishing earth energy you cultivated So You're breathing in nourishment you're breathing out Fatigue Worry Negativity Hope you have a beautiful day Filled with love and gratitude for all that mother earth gives us.
