Good morning,
Beautiful soul.
Welcome to this guided meditation practice where we will be taking just a few moments to wake up with awareness,
With curiosity.
So no matter whether you've had a rough night,
Perhaps you didn't sleep too well,
Or perhaps you had a good night's rest,
Whatever your experience,
However you're arriving,
All is welcome here.
So let's begin by connecting with the breath.
Without wanting to change anything,
Just placing your awareness onto your breath,
And noticing how and where it is moving from in your body.
Let's now take a few deep breaths together,
And I'm inviting you to exhale and empty out all the air from your lungs,
From your body,
To inhale deeply,
And exhaling with a sigh,
And exhaling deeply,
Filling up your lungs,
And exhaling with a sigh,
And one final time,
Inhaling,
And exhaling,
Letting go,
And allowing your breath to resume at its natural pace.
Let's bring our attention now to scan the body and notice if there are any places that feel achy,
Or sore,
Just bringing in your awareness and your breath to these places with a gentle breath,
Acknowledging if there are any sensations that need to be felt,
And noticing if there are any residual emotions from the night before,
Or perhaps from your dream time,
Noticing if anything comes up,
And breathing,
Acknowledging whatever is present for you,
And consciously allowing it to settle,
Allowing any of those sensations or those emotions to dissipate with the breath,
Knowing that you are starting a new day,
Turning over a new leaf,
And stepping into the opportunity of experiencing something wonderful.
So I invite you now to just gently place one or both hands over your heart center,
And to invite your breath into your heart space,
Allowing your attention to just rest here,
And experiencing your breath as if it were to enter and exit the body.
The heart space,
Inhaling,
Exhaling,
Throughout this center of your being,
And as you breathe here,
Allow to arise a feeling of gratitude,
And if that feels a bit challenging at the moment,
You can always bring up an image of someone or something that you love dearly,
And that you feel grateful for.
Whatever it is,
Allow the feeling of gratitude to spark within you,
To feel it warming you up from the inside.
Allow this feeling of warmth to continue to grow from your heart,
Radiating from the inside,
And filling up your whole entire body,
Like the rays of the sun.
Lighting up sparks within you,
Setting the tone for the day ahead,
For this wonderful opportunity and blessing that it is to be alive today.
Breathing,
With this radiating sensation within you,
Allowing it to bless every single particle of your being,
Knowing that this energy,
This lightness within your heart,
You carry it with you.
And you touch all those you meet with your radiant presence.
Breathe deeply,
And finally letting go,
Exhaling completely,
Bringing a gentle smile to your face,
Feeling ready to embrace the day and all that may come your way,
With a feeling of openness and curiosity.
And with that,
When you feel ready,
You can let the light start to come through your eyelids,
Knowing that you have everything in you to make this a beautiful day.
