Hello there,

Beautiful soul.

Let's begin unwinding from the day before going to sleep.

These precious few moments that we'll be spending here in this space will really help to let go of your day and prepare you for a restful night's sleep.

So as you get settled into a comfortable position,

Whether that be seated or maybe already lying down in your bed,

Just allow yourself to really land.

Allow your body,

Your mind,

Your heart to settle.

And slowly start tuning in to your breath.

Slowly giving more attention to the rhythm of your breathing.

There's nowhere else you need to be right now.

There's nothing else you need to be doing.

You have full permission to simply be at rest right now.

Breathing perhaps a little bit more deeply now.

Letting go of your day,

Your week,

Or whatever it is that's taking up too much space for you right now.

This is your permission slip to just let it fade away softly and return your attention to your breath.

Feeling your body relax with each breath that you take.

Checking to see if you're holding or gripping any places in your body.

If there's any tension,

Gently bring your breath to any area that needs to be softened.

Noticing the muscles on your face,

Your forehead,

Your jaw perhaps,

Your shoulders,

The back of your neck,

Your arms,

Your hands,

Your fingers.

Your chest area,

Your abdomen,

Your low belly,

Your tailbone area,

Your thighs,

Your knees,

Your calves,

Your feet,

And your toes.

Noticing,

Scanning your body and inviting in the breath to fully let go of any tension.

Noticing your body soften,

Feel at ease.

And just before drifting off to sleep,

In your own humble way,

Thank yourself for taking this time to connect consciously with your breath,

With your body,

With your being,

And giving yourself the opportunity to come home to yourself.

I wish you a beautiful night's sleep.
