Good morning and welcome to this guided meditation.
We'll be connecting with love to fill up our cup,
To get our day going strong and prime ourselves to have the best day possible,
No matter the circumstances.
Please find a comfortable position for this meditation.
If you'd like,
You may remain lying still in the comfort of your bed,
Or if you've already risen to take a seat for this practice,
That's fine.
Gently close your eyes when you're ready.
Everything you do right now ripples outward and affects everyone.
Your posture can shine your heart or transmit anxiety.
Your breath can radiate love or muddy the room in depression.
Your glance can awaken joy.
Your words can inspire freedom.
Your every act can open hearts and minds.
This quote by David De Itta reminds me that in every moment of the day,
We can either act consciously with goodness or we can act out of impulse where we have no control over what is being expressed or received.
Now let's draw the focus of your attention to the breath.
Just following the breath all the way from the entrance of the nostrils down to the belly and then filling out the lungs and chest.
You want to feel the entire body gently expand and become full of air.
Feel the breath all the way in and then all the way out.
In,
Feeling the tide come in.
Out,
Feeling the tide leave and return.
Within,
Feeling the tide come in,
Rising and out,
Feeling the tide recede,
Falling.
Love is unconditional.
Love is free.
It is the quality in which we experience life when we surrender ourselves and simply be.
Love is beautiful.
Love is birth.
It is the emotion that illuminates possibilities in us just as the sun spreads light on earth.
Love is everywhere.
Love is within us.
It is available to anyone who can lose themselves completely in something else.
Love is union.
Love is separation.
It is our loneliness blossoming from the touch of creation.
Love is crazy.
Love is not going to bed with you.
It is exploring oneself and the world knowing there is only one now.
Love is here.
Love is always.
It is you,
Me,
Them,
And all things if you can be it,
Sweetly in it and without.
We are immersed in love like the sand can be immersed in water.
The sand is beautiful just by nature and also by the process of being exposed to the elements of life.
One grain of sand or an entire beach full,
It comes from the same origin.
Just like sand cycling through different states of being,
We are affected by our surroundings.
The wave comes in and we are soaked with love.
The wave recedes and we start to dry.
Sometimes we completely dry out and another life comes in to take its place.
Who are you when the tides are high and you are connected to love?
Who are you when the ocean recedes and you do not feel connected to life?
Who are you when the tides are high and you are connected to love?
Who are you when the ocean recedes and you do not feel connected to life?
Who are you when the tides are high and you can feel love?
And who do you become when the tides recede and you do not feel as connected to life?
Let's take the next few moments to feel pure awareness flowing through us,
Breathing easily,
Calming our senses,
Relaxing into a space where there is just now.
The awareness of simply being,
Clearing and settling.
Feeling this direct moment of pure awareness within our bodies,
Feeling all of life flowing through us,
Allowing our breath to be breathing us,
Allowing the senses to calm as we relax into a space where there is no past,
No future,
Just now.
Just allowing the awareness of simply being here,
Clearing and settling our energies.
We are all able to radiate love from within.
We are love.
We are love.
We are love.
Each moment is a time when love is present.
It took love to be here.
It took love to be here.
It took love to be here.
The love within gets interpreted as the fragrance of our lives blossoming.
Let love spring forth.
Let love spring forth.
Let love spring forth.
Love yourself and the universe.
Existence is sweeter with love.
Existence is sweeter with love.
Existence is sweeter with love.
Gently take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in and breathe it out.
Take your own time and slowly opening the eyes once again and see if you can take this quality of emotion and awareness with you into your day and into your life.
May your presence be your blessing to yourself and to all that you meet and come in contact with today.
Thank you for sharing your meditation practice with me.
I look forward to hearing from any of you who feel like sharing how this made you feel or if you notice any difference in your day by starting with this meditation.
Namaste.
Have a beautiful day.
