It's so good to be back.
I've been doing quite a few of these live events recently to promote my upcoming workshop.
So I hope that you will look into the workshop happening in just a few days from now.
And today is going to be another exploration into the content and full scope of what we're going to receive at the workshop.
The workshop is called Embracing Chaos and the Flow of Creation.
This workshop is going to be really aimed at transforming you as the individual to be capable of using more of what's already there available to us as part of your tools for transformation,
As part of your leverage to become a better human being.
Because the darkness and chaos,
The void that which we do not see is all around us.
There's things happening and becoming a part of our daily experience that are there,
But we don't see it.
And so we can learn how to embrace this chaos and embrace the tumultuous times and the mud of our life.
Then we will become more enlightened and we will become more able to deal with the hard times that come our way.
And if we're able to really embrace and step into the flow of creation,
Then we are going to be able to activate our creative energy within us to make new life happen and to make new things blossom within us.
It's really important that we are in the flow of creation because that's part of what we are.
We are consciously creating our existence all the time,
Whether we realize it or not.
Yet so often we forget that we are also creative beings,
That we have the ability to create new life and we have the ability to do such amazing things.
No matter what the job is that we're doing,
No matter who we think we are,
No matter where we are,
No matter what situation we're in,
We have the ability to tap into the creative force of life to expand and to gain a deeper understanding and ultimately a more enriching experience of being alive.

And for all of you who do not know me or may not be familiar with my work,
I'm a meditation instructor.
I'm a spiritual guide.
I'm a sound healing artist.
I produce and engineer music as well as dabble in the creative field of body art.
I'd like to open up with a bit of a lecture for today.
And then once the lecture is complete,
I'd like to do a bit of a practice,
A meditation practice with some of the instruments that you see here before you,
These sacred instruments,
Ranging from quartz crystal singing bowls to Tibetan singing bowls to medicine drums and Koshi chimes and flute.
So that's what's in store for today.
I think we're going to be here for about an hour.
So for any of those who wanted to know how long this is going to go for,
It's nice to know that now you kind of know what's going on.
You can get comfortable.
You might want to get a glass of water for yourself.
You might want to get an extra pillow,
A blanket,
Your meditation cushion,
Your yoga mat,
A candle.

When we are able to witness and observe other people who have experienced a certain level of not being available to the light of this world,
When we witness other people go through very challenging stuff and we feel what they're going through,
It's really important that we try to learn from this and try to allow some of that truth to be brought into our experience.
I mean,
That's what gratitude is all about.
That's what appreciation is really all about.
When you are able to witness something that brings meaning to your life,
Right?
When we see someone else suffering and we can go one of two ways,
Right?
We can be like,
Yo,
I feel for you.
I have compassion and empathy.
I'm willing to put myself in your shoes.
I'm willing to help you get up or I'm willing to at least send positive energy your way because sometimes people are too toxic to even touch.
So you can simply observe and wish well.
But sometimes we actually have the ability to help them up physically,
Emotionally,
Mentally.
Or we can just turn off.
We can just tune it out and go,
Nah,
Not interested.
If you're not interested in the well-being of other people,
Then it's a sign that within yourself you're also lacking.
You don't feel abundant.
You don't feel worthy.
You don't have that love or that space to be aware of what's going on.
And if you make a choice not to care about your brothers and sisters,
About the person next to you,
The life that's next to you,
Then we are missing out on actually something so important and beautiful about life,
About being a human being.
Because we get to actually choose who we want to be close to.
You know,
Once we're born and raised in a family,
Become an adult,
We now have the ability to choose who we want to surround ourselves with and to start dissolving these patterns that we've been collecting over time throughout our life because now we have choice.
There's so much power in that choice.
Okay,
Without any questions,
Let's begin.
What do we actually mean by chaos,
Right?
Let's start by just unpacking some of these words and elements that are going to be in the workshop.
What is chaos?
Why would we want to embrace chaos?
Come at me with some comments,
Come at me with some answers.
Embracing chaos,
Why would we want to do that Elliot?
Why are you why are you titling your workshop starting with embracing chaos?
That doesn't sound very nice,
That doesn't sound fun.
Why would I want to embrace something that is unpleasant,
Nasty and just unstable,
You know?
Suzanne says,
So we can then let it go.
Because it is what it is,
I like that one Terry.
Tatiana,
We can't control the outside world,
So embrace it.
Uncertainties within and without,
So if it's there,
May as well embrace it.
It's everything we can't control.
Right,
I like this one Chris,
This is really important because what we cannot control is not fixed.
Okay,
What we cannot control is not fixed,
It's not set in stone,
It's not forever.
For instance,
Yesterday you may have thought,
I have no control over my emotions,
I can't seem to get this person that I care for or am infatuated with out of my mind,
I can't get them out of my heart.
But then something happened,
Something might have happened during your meditation practice,
Something might have happened while you're on your walk,
Something might have happened while you're staring out into the ocean,
Just going what the hell is life?
And then something clicked,
Something might have happened in your sleep,
Something might have just happened when you woke up that you felt you suddenly had a different level of control over yourself and that connection with that person.
Now your ability to control something has changed.
And so there's so much that we have available to us actually to be able to exercise our control,
Exercise our influence in life.
Because ultimately we actually choose all the stuff that we are interacting with.
On some level consciously we have manifested the stuff that we are dealing with and there's a reason for that.
I'll get to that reason later but for now it's important to realize that things that we cannot control today right now in this very moment may not be what we cannot control tomorrow because we are looking for answers,
We're looking for ways to improve the way that we can interact with life so that our quality of life is enhanced.
And this doesn't happen you know overnight,
This doesn't happen just magically like poof.
It's something,
It's a,
It's a,
It's a path.
The path of enlightenment goes through so many different phases of darkness and so whatever you can say about enlightenment,
Whatever you can say about the light,
Whatever you can say about the dark,
Whatever you can say about chaos,
Whatever you can say about things that make sense to you,
It's going to be misunderstood to the other.
And what I mean by other is any other individual never going to be fully understood by someone because the individual experience knows no other way than the way it can happen for that individual.
What I mean is for myself as an individual,
As a self-governing,
Sovereign being,
I cannot take what someone else says and allow that to be truth because it's not true until I've experienced it as true.
And if I haven't developed myself to be absolutely clear and straight and honest with myself,
I'm going to change and manipulate what other people say so that it can be true for me without having to do the work,
Without having to actually experience it.
So when you hear people talking and you people,
You know,
All these spiritual people now in the world who are out there on Instagram and stuff and doing their thing and promoting all this stuff about enlightenment,
You still have to do the work.
It can't just happen like that for you.
So whether we talk about enlightenment,
Whether we talk about darkness,
Whether we're talking about spirituality,
Chakras,
Or whatever else,
We're only talking around it.
Never it.
Okay,
So I'm talking to you about chaos,
But we are just talking around it because your experience of chaos is going to be your unique experience of chaos.
My experience of chaos is going to be my experience of chaos.
These are not to be interchanged with one another.
And when we're in the chaos,
We either trust it or we don't.
Share in the comments now a moment in time during your life when you were faced with chaos and you distinctly remember having an option to trust or not trust.
And let's bring that up right now.
When was a time when you were faced with the chaos of a situation and you had a decision to make whether to trust or to reject?
When we talk about chaos,
Chaos is like when you just turn all the lights off and you can't see what's in front of you no more.
Suddenly the lights are out,
You can't see what's going on anymore and things are just hectic.
Where is everything?
Where is everything?
We don't know.
The darkness can be represented as the chaos because we cannot see that which is not being reflected for us.
What you see right now on your screen is only because light is reflecting off of it.
But you're not seeing the darkness here.
You're not seeing what's behind me.
You're not seeing what's directly behind these bowls.
So you don't know what is darkness and that's why chaos feels like chaos.
That's why the unknown feels chaotic because you don't know what is there.
That which you cannot perceive is the darkness.
That which you sense as the darkness is the darkness.
But do not have a way of managing it is chaos.
Chaos is subjective.
Chaos is an experience within you because you cannot perceive the dark.
But there is no such thing as darkness.
There is something called light but all that you don't know and all that you cannot perceive is the dark.
Everything that you're ignorant to,
Everything that you haven't figured out yet,
Everything that you don't really know what's going on with you is the darkness.
If you can see,
If you can perceive what's there,
You're not in the darkness.
So whether you're seeing what's happening here right now on your screen,
All this light bouncing off of each other everywhere,
Everything's being lit up.
Whether you see it outside or you manage to see within yourself,
Still darkness does not exist because darkness contains everything in the universe.
Everything in this world is contained within the darkness.
It's just that we're not able to see it and experience it because the light only reflects off of that which stops it.
So if I stop light,
You can see me.
If you stop light,
Then we can see you.
If you turn the lights off and you can't see anything,
Are you still there?
Is there actually darkness?
Because you see darkness is relative.
What I can see in the dark is different than what a possum can see in the dark.
The darkness is relative.
Chaos is relative.
It's relative to our experience.
This is important that we understand what really chaos means for us instead of going through this whole experience of light and dark without a real clear understanding of the larger dimension of what we're perceiving.
You can see not because of light but because something is reflecting the light and you are able to catch it.
The light was always there.
The sun was burning.
It's there.
Everything's being lit up.
But you did not see the light just like you did not see the air that's in front of you.
You smacked the pillow.
Your dog did a little shake and suddenly you can see the air because there's something in it that is reflecting light.
It's time to take that power back.
It's time to realize that we have the ability to do this.
There are practices that we can implement into our life,
Into our daily life that allows the chaos to be appreciated as a source to reflect the light,
The light of this world and the light within you.
And there's no time to waste.
There's no time to waste anymore.
You are a potentiality for success,
For pleasure,
For love,
For enlightenment.
There's no way that you're going to achieve what you are destined to achieve without accepting the path that's before you.
And so I hope that you all feel in a good space right now to close your eyes to get into a meditative posture.
Whether you like to sit for this or lay down,
It's all good.
Whatever feels right for you right now.
Ensure that your spine is erect,
Straight,
Your neck is supported.
And I want you to have your hands facing up open.
We're going to go through our practice now and bring a little bit of a taste of what actually is to be free.
We'll just start by connecting with our breath because the breath is our most immediate indicator that we are alive.
The moment you stop breathing,
You and everything that you know and think and feel is gone.
So let's get in touch with our breath.
Take a nice deep breath in and on the exhale just hum gently to yourself.
Hum A couple more.
Another one even deeper this time.
Hum We are working with 432 hertz both with the plant music and the singing bowls and 432 hertz sound is a reflection of nature.
As opposed to the different tunings that are used in most western music.
So we are able to be in touch with a greater level of experience here and clarity with life just by allowing these tones and sounds that come into us.
And now as you sink into a deeper space within yourself with the breath close with the body close with your thoughts close everything is nicely snug inside of you.
Start to envision yourself with your eyes closed just in the position that you're in whether you're seated or lying down just envision yourself as you are.
And every time a thought comes up and tries to steal your attention every time a feeling comes up tries to steal your attention every time your body sends a message that something is being felt tries to take you away from me just remind yourself that you are here with me with almost 200 other individuals around the planet and with yourself come back to this.
Your mind only can ask for your attention your emotions can only ask for your attention your body can only ask for your attention but you are the observer of all these different things all these different aspects of life and every time that we gently or even not so smoothly come back to this present moment of breathing and feeling the breath do we step closer to our divinity because we need this space to be able to experience the depths of life.
We don't always have to be submissive to what's happening in our brain the activity in our brain is creating an illusion of what life is but the only real thing that you know life to be is an experience how clear can you experience this moment how crystal clear can you get it without thought letting thoughts go without emotions letting emotions go without physical sensations can let physical sensations go what's important right now is this level of attention to something other than what you're used to we're used to responding we're used to reacting we're used to contributing to the overall information that's coming to us instead of just soaking up the energy of this open space so every time that something comes up for you and tries to steal your attention away just going to let a deep sigh or a hum and come back to the breath back to the sound of the flute as we continue to develop a space of acceptance openness and simply being without having to put in any information oh Mm.

As you continue to feel the space being created between yourself and thoughts,
Yourself and emotions,
Yourself and the body,
You're starting to get a taste of what it is to be truly grounded in the darkness,
In the chaos of life,
Because you are creating an experience of presence,
Regardless of where the light is shining upon,
Regardless of where things might be situationally.
And you're just accepting what is right now.

Reality is based on your quality of life as a subjective dimension.
All the stuff that we think we are is the version of ourselves that we hold back in fear of chaos.
As we come back into our bodies,
We feel the pulse of this drum,
As the pulse of creation,
Constantly throbbing,
Constantly in motion.
Everything around you,
Constantly shifting,
Constantly changing,
Is in that chaos.
Let's take a moment to befriend this chaos in our bodies.
We know one day we will die and our spirit will live on.
We can either sense this as chaos or we can allow it to liberate us.
We can allow it to liberate us.
Take a nice deep breath in.
Sigh on the exhale.
Ah.
You are alive and you are here today as a piece of this world reflecting the light.
May you go forward from this spot,
From this nice little place that we've created,
Continuing to reflect the light while also accepting the darkness is all around us.
The darkness is what we perceive as what we cannot see.
So in actuality the darkness does not exist.
It just has not been illuminated yet.
So may we go forward with light in our hearts,
With brilliant thoughts and wonderful feelings of bliss in our bodies.
