Welcome to this visualization meditation.
It has been designed to offer you a way to generate relaxation,
Creativity and stability.
Find a comfortable position for this meditation.
Maintain a comfortable straight back.
Then gently close your eyes and mouth.
Robert Louis Stevenson once said,
Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap,
But by the seeds that you plant.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Allow any distractions to only be witnessed and then released.
Be here.
Be now.
Be in the breath.
One breath at a time.
When we plant seeds,
We're making action for the future.
We're opening our world,
Which we currently live in and creating new possibilities.
This shows how we truly are limitless.
Our mind only confines us if we allow it.
Choose a fear.
Any fear that you may know.
Choose a fear that you'd like to banish from your life.
Whatever fear you choose,
Give it a two dimensional symbol.
This symbol will be important,
Make it something easy to remember.
Okay,
Hold on to that.
Now use your mind's eye to visualize yourself walking in an open field.
The soil is wet from a recent rain.
The grass and shrubs and trees are green.
The sky is blue with a few puffy white clouds.
Birds sing and the leaves still holding the rain dance and shimmer in the wind.
You see a clearing at the edge of the field.
It leads to a meadow.
You will enter the meadow,
But as you start to walk towards the entrance,
You find a seed on the ground.
It's quite large for a seed and it fits nicely in the palm of your hand.
With the seed in your hand,
You feel the need to give it away,
But still it feels useful and purposeful to you.
Closing your eyes and with the seed in your hand,
With your mind's eye,
You brand the symbol representing your fear onto the surface of the seed.
You open your eyes and there is the seed with the symbol still in your hand.
The symbol is bright against the black surface of the seed.
The seed is noticeably warm in your hand and you're starting to feel something positive and wonderful about holding the seed.
You continue walking towards the entrance of the meadow,
Slowly as if each step were a measure of your consciousness.
Stay with your breath and walk one step for each inhale and exhale.
Inhale,
Step.
Exhale,
Step.
Inhale,
Step.
Exhale,
Step.
Inhale,
Step.
Exhale,
Step.
Inhale,
Step.
Inhale,
Step,
Exhale,
Step.
The sun is on your back and it feels warm.
Take a moment to let go of this fear,
To let go of this seed.
We all want to be free.
We all want to fulfill our destiny,
Our higher purpose.
We can liberate ourselves,
Relax our state of being,
And promote health when we choose love instead of fear.
Take a moment to speak directly with your fear.
You may want to speak out loud.
You may want to address it by a name.
Let your fear know that you're letting it go.
You're nearing the entrance to the meadow now.
Confronting your fears takes courage,
Vulnerability.
These virtues ignite your heart on fire.
You feel a direct line from the seed to your heart.
A warmth begins to spread throughout your body,
Starting in your heart area.
It relaxes you.
It comforts you.
It strengthens you.
It knows the real you.
As you enter the meadow,
You see lots of little sprouts.
They're all shooting out of the ground from the recent rain.
The air is fresh,
And the wind is soft on your skin.
You find a nice spot to sit down.
There are leaves covering the ground.
You place the heavy seed on the ground,
And when you do,
It feels already good to put it down.
Now you're brushing the leaves off a little patch of soil in front of you,
And you begin digging.
As you dig,
You're incredibly calm as you sense all the feelings pass by.
The pain,
The frustration,
The anger,
The anxiety,
They all just pass by in your mind as you dig.
You are merely witnessing your emotions and thoughts now.
As you dig,
You are incredibly calm as you sense all the feelings pass by.
You are merely witnessing your emotions and thoughts now.
As you dig,
You are incredibly calm as you sense all the feelings pass by.
As you dig,
You are incredibly calm as you sense all the feelings pass by.
You are reminded that we are not our thoughts or emotions,
And that we truly are the creators of our own destiny.
You're feeling all the wonder and magic of life all around you.
You pick up the seed and place it in the hole.
As it rests there in the cold,
Dark soil,
You see the symbol glowing red.
The whole seed is glowing now,
And you feel a healing warmth coming from it.
An enormous warmth is coursing through your body.
The connection between the seed and your heart is eternal.
The pain will forever inform you of who you are and what you still may become.
In calmness,
Surrender,
Knowing,
Strength,
New beginnings,
You cover the seed with soil and release all your fear.
Look in with the body,
Whether you're standing,
Sitting,
Or lying down.
Notice how your breath is relaxed and natural,
And you're just noticing how the body is in this present moment.
Allow your awareness to gather around your body.
Without trying to change anything,
You just observe your body.
Everything that you fear is within your ability to be free from it.
The more your love expands,
The more comfort you have to greet all that life offers.
To be fearless is a relaxing and opening sensation,
Not one of constriction or force or creating a bubble around ourselves.
With time and energy,
This practice will improve your state of mind,
Body,
And soul.
Gently open your eyes now.
Give blessings to the earth,
The trees,
And anything else you find appropriate after going through this visualization.
Visualize this seed meditation whenever you need.
It will bring you strength and courage.
Feel free to use it in your journey ahead.
Namaste.
