Start to ponder the following questions that can help you locate your deepest heartfelt desire for your practice of meditation as well as your daily life.
What is my deepest heartfelt longing?
What do I want more than anything else from my practice of meditation and for my life?
What is the central principle or guiding theme that runs throughout my life,
That gives my life purpose,
Value and meaning?
What is the mission that life is asking on me as its unique expression?
Sense into your heart and welcome words and visceral feelings that arise,
That are associated with your unique heartfelt desire.
They might be words of simply a felt sense.
Welcome whatever arises just as it is.
Knowing that it can take time for you to connect the part and also for your deepest heartfelt longing to fully reveal itself.
If there are words,
Place them in positive,
Present tense phrases such as I am loving,
Compassionate,
Kind and authentic.
I express truth in each moment.
Now,
Imagine that your heartfelt desire is actualized and true.
Imagining what it is like to be living from this deepest heartfelt desire.
What actions are you taking in your life with respect to yourself,
Others and the world around you?
Allow your body,
Mind and heart to resonate with a sense of well-being,
Love and gratitude as you imagine yourself living from your deepest heartfelt desire.
As you are doing this,
Consider intentions that support living your deepest heartfelt desire.
For instance,
What steps can you express and can you take in order for connect to this heartfelt desire in a manner that gives you life,
That gives your life a dimension,
A depth and to your practice of meditation,
Value,
Meaning and purpose.
When you are ready,
When is for you time to complete your practice and before handing,
Affirm your heartfelt desire with your entire body and mind while also stating intentions that you might wish to take with you into daily life that will help you to nourish and realize your heart deepest longing.
Allow yourself to take a couple of breaths,
Inhaling and exhaling.
When you are ready,
Allow your eyes to open and close several times,
Still maintaining this visceral felt sense of your heart's deepest longing and intentions.
Continue to confirm them,
Validate and as you do so,
Start by welcoming your body with some stretch and move as you come fully back to your body,
Allowing progressively,
Slowly,
