Kaivalya is the same.

It's exactly the same thing.

Being in Paramakash.

Just that.

There is just the consciousness.

Just the pure being.

Everything appears in it.

All these little peepholes that you drew,

Witness consciousness with the little black dots,

So many,

All of them appear in it,

Play for a while and disappear in it.

The pure consciousness remains intact,

Untouched.

It is the one.

I am that.

I share it with each one of these peepholes,

These body minds.

My problem is I have falsely assumed I am the body mind.

Maharaj was the only courageous teacher on the path of Advaita to talk at length about how to take this step away from the body mind.

He was the only teacher who has spoken about Deha Buddhi.

Deha Buddhi is that term which has been translated as body mind machine.

And he was the only one who has again and again insisted that the body mind functions automatically.

See this.

Open your eyes and see this.

You have assumed that you are thinking.

You have assumed that you are doing.

And you always assume it after the fact.

After you act,

Then you say,

I did it.

After the thought arises,

You say,

I thought it.

You are the one going and grasping again and again and again and again.

And Maharaj has spoken n number of chapters about this.

Nowhere in Advaita Vedanta will you find a teacher who speaks again and again to this,

I am not the doer,

I am not the experiencer,

Again and again in so much detail.

So,

I will insist again,

Please figure out that personal world creation.

There are many,

Many scientists who have spoken about it.

All the way from classical physics all the way to quantum physics.

You will have many,

Many scientists speak about this truth.

That this world is nothing but electromagnetic radiation.

There are no shapes,

Sizes,

Colors.

There is no real taste and smells.

All this is created from the mind.

It is from inside that I create my world.

Then I believe my world.

Then I hold on to my world.

And my world is better than your world.

And I'm simply clashing with another person.

And that is the cause for my Dukha Maharaj says.

Nowhere in Advaita Vedanta will you find this.

He says,

The cause of your suffering is your personal world creation.

Wake up and realize this truth.

So,

Work on this very important thing to work on.

Come to Paramakash.

Kaivalya is the same.

Establish as the Paramakash.

So,

Jeevan Mukti is while living in Sumanth's physical body,

He recognizes I am not the body.

While being in the physical body,

Sumanth recognizes I am not the body-mind.

And establishes as the Paramakash.

Not even the witness.

I'm telling you to go beyond the witness.

When you are at the witness level,

Remember the witness will die with the death of the body.

Yeah,

I hope you remember this statement from the previous chapters.

The witness is born along with the birth of the body and dies with the death of the body.

So,

Just establishing in witness is only a middle step.

I have to take one more step beyond.

And it's very easy.

It's a very natural journey.

It will happen on its own.

Okay.

Once you get there,

Then you are Jeevan Mukta.

Means what?

Jeevan belongs to this body-mind.

And I thought that with the death of this body-mind,

I am going to die.

I live only till there is Jeevan in this body-mind.

Now,

I am Mukta of that wrong understanding.

I am free.

I am liberated of that wrong understanding.

So,

That is called Jeevan Mukta Samadhi.

You do not need to close your eyes to do this.

It has to be really something that you see with your open eyes.

You can start with closed eyes Samadhis and practices because some of us are very consumed in this world.

So,

We need to isolate from the world to begin with.

But your final destination is with open eyes.

Yeah.

That is Jeevan Mukta Samadhi.

I have established as the Paramakash.

But I notice that the body-mind is still alive.

The body-mind is still kicking and breathing.

Yes.

Now,

The body-mind dies.

Do I die?

No.

I am the Paramakash.

Kaivalya Samadhi.

Deha Mukti.

That is the difference between Jeevan Mukta Samadhi and Kaivalya Samadhi.

Why do we call it deep sleep state?

It is called deep sleep state deep sleep state from the viewpoint of the waking state and the dreaming state.

Because there is something called waking and dreaming,

That is why I call that third state as the deep sleep state.

It is not really a state.

It is Paramakash.

I go to Paramakash every night.

That is who I am.

And I come back to this illusion.

It is a dream.

Both waking and dreaming.

Both are dreams.

This is a waking dream.

This is a sleeping dream.

Both are dreams.

This is my truth.

So,

Deep sleep state is just used for the sake of convenience because we use waking and dreaming.

Because it exists everywhere.

Exactly.

Exactly.

So,

It is like the deep sleep state is the bigger state,

Inside which there is a smaller dreaming state,

Inside which there is the smallest waking state.

We both are seeing different colors.

But we both have learned to label those two different colors as red.

But that is also a label that's perceived by your hearing.

You're saying it is red and I see it as blue and you see it as green but we don't call it red.

Correct.

It is red and I see it as blue and you see it as green but we don't call it red.

But we both hear it as red.

Correct.

That's also perception.

That's also perception.

Everything.

Sight,

Sound,

Smell,

Taste,

Touch.

Everything.

So,

Whatever I'm hearing the words is also different.

Yes.

That is why Maharaj is explaining Paramakash to you.

By just this explanation,

If you were really really not perceiving from inside out,

You should all have been enlightened.

Right now,

This moment,

Kaivalya Samadhi should have been your state or Jeevan Mukh Samadhi should have been your state.

But it is not.

Why?

Perception is inside out,

Not outside in.

So,

Whatever I am explaining,

Whatever Maharaj is explaining,

Every single person is perceiving it through his own limited perceivable capacity.

Did you draw the three circles,

Jayshree?

Yes.

So,

The biggest circle,

Look at your own diagram.

The biggest circle is the Paramakash.

He is in the Paramakash state and inside is the witness circle.

Inside the witness circle is the body-mind world.

Yes.

The witness is there only when there is something to witness.

In the waking state,

There is something to witness.

That time there is the witness.

In the dream state,

There is something to witness.

That time there is the witness.

In the deep sleep state,

What will happen?

Both these will collapse and you're just in Paramakash.

It is so doable,

Right now,

Right here.

The only thing you need to get out of your head is,

I am the body that sleeps.

Your problem is you have this very strong belief that I sleep at night.

You do not sleep.

Only the body sleeps.

Only the mind rests.

I do not sleep.

I have to become very clear about it.

Then I will be able to remain aware.

This is very,

Very doable.

Some people have already started preaching there.

So,

A little more,

Little more interest in ourselves and less interest in this world and less interest in this body-mind is required for that.

When you get there,

Then it's very easy to see that the body-mind has a deha buddhi of its own.

It functions on its own.

Actions happen on their own.

I do not do anything.

Then it's very easy to see,

Oh,

Thoughts arise on their own.

Decisions happen on their own.

Thinking happens on its own.

Understanding happens on its own.

Learning happens on its own.

Everything is happening on its own.

Speaking is happening on its own.

That's why I keep telling,

You know,

I'm not teaching.

Since years I have been saying this.

I am not teaching.

I am not saying anything.

This deha buddhi has been operating on its own.

It's very easy to recognize it.

Keep your goal very clear now.

This is it.

This is where I have to get to this oneness.

You don't experience in deep sleep because even in deep sleep your stand is,

I am the body and I am asleep.

That is the problem.

You have to move your stand from that black dot.

That is your stand,

The Mahadakash.

You have to move your stand from the Mahadakash to the Paramakash.

Recognize,

No,

I am only fooling myself that I am the body and mind that goes to sleep every night.

For that,

Start being the witness 24x7.

It's a step-by-step process.

So that's why Advaita Vedanta gives you the middle step.

The middle step is be the witness.

When you manage to be the witness 24 hours,

It starts becoming your true nature.

You keep practicing,

Keep practicing,

Keep practicing,

Just being the witness and again and again taking a step beyond this body-mind,

Recognizing that the body-mind is dukkha.

That becomes very established soon.

After this you don't have to do anything.

It will be a natural process.

You will move to the Paramakash,

To the pure consciousness,

Where you will see,

Oh,

Even this witness arises with the object and falls with the object.

I am Paramakash.

These are big words.

It's not as complicated as the word sounds.

It's very,

Very simple.

I am simply awareness.

I am awareness.

I am not in awareness.

I do not experience awareness.

I am awareness.

I have just forgotten that I am awareness.

I have deceived myself to believe that I am the body and the mind.

And that's why I feel I sleep in the night.

It's all about belief and conditioning.

You drop your conditioning that you are the body and mind,

You will automatically move from Mahadakash to Chiddhakash.

It is that simple.

You have to let go of the conditioning.

You have to let go of the belief.

You have to let go of the fear that is binding you to Mahadakash.

See that you experientially recognize it.

There's only recognition here.

And it's not something that you can intellectually memorize.

It's pointless.

So drop the intellectual dive into Advaita and start recognizing the truth.

Be more interested in your own self,

Not in this body-mind,

In your true self.

Then the journey will finally begin.

So then I'll see you next week.

Until then,

Happy self-exploration.
