A lot of people think I am the soul. So there are a lot of people or a lot of even paths that advocates that you are the soul. But this is a misunderstanding. According to Advaita, There cannot be an individual soul and there is just one simple blanket of Brahman. Everything is Brahman. There is no Purusha and Prakriti, There is no duality. Everything is non dual. There is no two. So there is no individual consciousness. So Chitta Chaya is a wrong understanding if people have translated it as the soul or the earth.
