Return To You: Trusting The Detours In Life
Return to your true essence, your deep knowing, and your intuitive heart. When life takes an unexpected turn, it’s easy to feel like you’ve lost your way. But what if the detours are part of the path? This reflection is an invitation to trust what’s unfolding and to remember that life is happening for you, always. Quote is by Yung Pueblo.

Hi my friend,
My name is Aileen Rose Miles.
I'm so glad you're here.
Take this time to pause and turn inward with me.
Join me if you'd like in placing both hands over your heart and closing your eyes if that feels right.
Take a slow breath in through your nose.
Big exhale.
Big exhale.
Drop in.
Land safely into your heart here.
Choose loving awareness right now.
Open your mind to these words by Young Pueblo.
As she looked into her past she noticed that the road she had traveled was no simple straight line.
Her journey toward fully loving herself in the world was full of forward and backward movement,
Twists,
Turns,
Detours,
And even some pauses.
At times she doubted her progress.
Her potential and even her power to change.
But today with the wisdom of experience at hand,
She knows she could not have gotten to where she is without every movement she has ever made.
Sit with these words for a moment.
My friend,
Can you honor all of the twists and turns and the detours and dead ends?
May you realize that if it seems like nothing's going right,
It's actually life happening for you.
Every single movement you make is leading you to exactly where you need to go.
This quote reminds me to trust the unfolding and to know that every single moment is adding up to lead me to where I must go.
And it's up to us to surrender and trust,
Especially when it's really hard.
The dead ends are really hard,
Right?
The detours and what feels like setbacks,
Even though it's actually propelling you forward.
It's difficult to have this perspective,
But we know.
Looking back,
I'm sure you can think about something that didn't feel right,
That maybe you were upset about,
Something that wasn't going your way.
And now you can see,
Oh,
That had to happen in order for this to happen.
And then this to happen,
And then this to happen.
It's really beautiful when we can see how it all unfolded.
But that usually happens after,
Right?
So if there's something you're going through right now,
If it feels like you're in a detour,
If you're in some sort of redirection,
Can you remember,
This is for me?
I know this is for me.
If this resonated with you in any way,
I'd love to hear what your thoughts are below,
Comment,
Leave a review.
And as always,
I hope you choose to be kind to your mind,
From my heart to yours.
