Hello!
My name is Eden,
And I am a therapist,
Reiki teacher,
And meditation guide.
Now whether you've found this meditation through one of my Reiki courses or just through the web of life,
Welcome!
These meditations are intended to deepen your relationship to your intuition and gifts,
And facilitate an understanding of your own internal landscape.
Each meditation is also a tool that can be offered to yourself or a client,
So I invite you to notice what shifts within you before,
During,
After,
Beyond the meditation,
Cataloging the effects with words and feelings and sensations.
Just letting yourself take note.
Allow it to be personal and universal.
Let's begin!
And wherever you are,
Just finding a comfortable resting position within your body.
And today we do a little internal experiment linking our imagination to our sensing,
To our feeling.
Linking the mind to the body,
Through the breath.
This incredible tool that always exists within us,
In our autonomic nervous system,
Yet the one thing we also have control over when we think,
When we ask.
This is our gateway into interweaving the mind and the body.
And so there are many ways to do this imaginal breath meditation.
You can imagine a circuit within the body,
Breath entering and leaving through any parts of the body or the aura.
But today we'll just do this with a waterfall of breath.
So just taking a few breaths now to just breathe as your body wants to,
Letting the breath move into the belly,
The ribcage,
The chest and back out.
And now we imagine.
So go ahead and imagine that your inhale now enters into the body through the crown of the head.
Inhale the breath down the crown,
Through the face,
The neck,
The shoulders,
Into the belly.
And then the exhale moves down the belly,
The hips,
The legs and fully releases out through the soles of the feet.
Inhale watch the breath move in through the crown,
Down into the belly.
And exhale out through the soles of the feet.
And just letting yourself imagine this,
Linking whatever you see in your mind to your breath.
Letting these things be separate for a moment.
Noticing what you visualize,
Maybe it's as if you have stepped under a waterfall with each breath.
Maybe there's a white light that travels over,
Down,
Through.
Whatever it is,
Just noticing what you imagine as you start to imagine the breath moving in this way.
Letting that be personal because it is.
And as we continue with this imaginal breath,
Perhaps you've already started to notice that this becomes easier and easier to picture in your mind.
And maybe,
Just maybe,
You start to sense that the breath just is moving in through the crown,
Down and out the feet.
Maybe there's some sensation in your body of the breath rolling down and out.
Maybe you start to feel like there's this gentle waterfall with each breath.
Starting to sense the breath moving in this way as your awareness rolls down the body.
Softening any tenseness in the physical body so that you can actually sense this imaginal breath even more.
As if it's always been here.
Can you let it be the most familiar thing?
Good,
So good.
Letting each breath be new.
Flexing this mental muscle to see,
To feel the breath in this way.
Maybe you give that wave of breath a feeling like ushering in relaxation over and down the body.
Maybe peace.
Maybe love.
Maybe you start to just bring in an emotion to the sensation,
Linking our mind to our five senses,
To our emotions.
Just experimenting with what that's like for you today,
Recognizing that even if it takes effort,
That's perfect.
This is the feeling of going to the mental gym.
Flexing these mental muscles to strengthen them.
Whole system integration right here.
Good.
And last breath right here.
Breathing in this way.
And letting go with that last exhale all the way out through the feet.
Breathing in and out as your body so pleases now.
Noticing any subtle changes in the body,
The mind,
The emotions.
Thanking yourself,
Thanking your mind,
Thanking all of the powers that be within you.
And whenever you're ready to return to the day,
Gently blinking the eyes open.
