This is Laura and today's practice involves a prop,
Either your morning tea or coffee,
Or any beverage of your choice.
So,
Go ahead and pause this audio grab what you need,
And then find yourself a comfortable seat.
And take your beverage,
Wrap your hands around the cup or mug and notice the sensation.
Maybe you notice the warmth from your tea or your coffee.
Maybe you feel the coolness of the glass of juice that you're drinking.
Perhaps you can smell this beverage.
The bitterness,
The sweetness.
And when you're ready.
What do you taste.
How does it feel.
What is the temperature.
Continue mindfully enjoying your beverage,
Not rushing,
Not hurrying,
But just taking the moments to notice all the qualities that you can notice.
Feel a sense of calm and pure pleasure.
Sit here as long as you'd like,
And enjoy.
