Let's continue the story.

When I first became vegan,

I noticed that by overcoming my cravings,

I reached a certain level of mindfulness.

But I'll admit,

There were times I'd let myself indulge in something tasty.

During those moments,

I became more aware and tried to foresee the consequences of my actions.

My biggest temptation,

Chips.

If I ate them late at night,

I'd wake up the next day feeling sluggish,

Definitely getting up later and unable to practice meditation the way I normally would.

I'd meditate later in the day,

Feeling groggy and half-asleep,

And sometimes,

In that state,

I'd lose the motivation to practice altogether.

It felt like I'd slipped off my path,

But paradoxically,

This allowed me to see that I was actually on a spiritual journey,

There was always progress and evolution happening.

This understanding deepened when I became aware of the impact of water and raw foods.

I started to realize what my body is made of,

And what kind of internal environment I was creating,

Whether it was acidic or alkaline.

An alkaline environment is where life thrives,

Filled with more living cells nourished by raw living foods.

We achieve this by eating more salads,

Fruits,

And plant-based meals.

On the other hand,

An acidic environment comes from fried and cooked foods.

The more acidic the body becomes,

The more polluted the blood becomes,

Which in turn gives rise to unclear,

Negative thoughts.

Eventually,

The mind becomes just as cluttered as the body.

You can observe how the body functions under these conditions.

In an alkaline state,

There's more energy,

Less need for sleep,

And moments of insight.

Essentially,

There's more creative energy,

An urge to create and be productive.

In contrast,

When the body is acidic,

The opposite happens.

You feel drowsy,

Unmotivated,

And apathetic.

When I reached this understanding through veganism,

Life became more exciting.

After eating something cooked,

I'd find myself craving the same type of food the next day.

These cells were shaping me,

And they were calling for more of what they were accustomed to.

If I ate something delicious and cooked,

The image of that food would come to mind,

And the desire to eat it again became a regular part of my day.

I realized that if I ate something now,

I would want more of it later.

Why?

Because the taste receptors remember the flavor of the food,

And similar energy attracts similar energy.

The process of forming the gut microbiome made sense with this understanding.

Thoughts about our internal biome would arise as I ate more fresh,

Raw foods,

Naturally guiding me toward a raw vegan diet.

What fascinated me most was moving closer to a raw food lifestyle,

Overcoming unhealthy dependencies through a kind of mental detox.

But of course,

Even on a vegan diet,

I still missed cheese.

Nowadays though,

We have so many delicious plant-based cheeses that this is no longer an issue.

But there was something else I noticed,

How bread affected me.

After eating it,

I would quickly gain weight,

Sweat more,

And feel like everything was slowing down inside me.

It felt like the whole world was also slowing down,

As if it got stuck.

Cooked food leads to sweating,

Odors,

And heaviness.

I started noticing these things as I got closer to raw eating.

My mind would be amazed,

Wow,

I feel so much cleaner.

As I stayed vegan,

I noticed more and more mindful people around me.

I started to ask myself,

What's next?

How can I level up?

How can I generate more energy?

That's when I knew the next step was raw food.

In the second part of the course,

I'll continue sharing my journey with food.

We'll dive into topics like raw veganism,

Fruitarianism,

And monodieting.

So when you feel ready,

Join me for the 25-day second part of the course.
