This is a guided meditation for kindness.
A guided meditation for kindness.
Okay?
So,
I want you to settle your body,
Find a posture that is easy to hold and remain attentive in.
And we're going to begin by cultivating a present moment awareness.
So,
I want you to be mindful of your body touching the ground or a chair,
Whatever you're on.
And rest your hands in your lap and then notice the sensation of your hands touching your legs.
Notice the sounds that are around you coming and going.
And just notice them.
Don't bring attention to them.
Just notice them.
Just be aware of them.
Don't wonder what that far away sound is but rather just know it's there.
And I want you to bring attention to the sensations in your body.
Sense the places where there's tension or discomfort.
And bring your awareness to those places with a gentle awareness.
Be mindful of the subtle changes around your areas of discomfort and tension.
And just notice everything you're feeling.
We always can sort of feel things beneath us but we don't bring attention to that and we can always feel our a part of our body touching another part of our body but we don't bring attention to that.
And now that you've got your attention on your body and how it feels in this place and in this moment,
I want you to mentally repeat these phrases to yourself,
Okay?
