Don't forget to breathe and don't forget your breath. This short practice is an invitation to slow down the speed of our thinking and arrive at a more calm and present space. In the practice, it's important to inhale with the two syllables and exhale with the two syllables. Inhale: I AM. Exhale: Breathing. The affirmations used in this practice can be changed to better suit your needs.

Hi friends,

And welcome to your practice.

A practice and a reminder to breathe,

To breathe with ease,

To breathe freely,

And to be with your breath.

The breath is our anchor.

The breath has the power to guide us,

Guide us through hardships,

Through anxious times,

And guide us back home to ourselves.

This practice is best for when your mind and your thoughts are louder than your breathing and being.

Don't forget your breath,

And don't forget to breathe.

You can close your eyes or keep them open to a soft gaze.

Softening your eyebrows,

Softening your jaw,

Softening the shoulders,

Allowing our bodies to become soft in this moment.

Relaxing our chest and our bellies,

Our legs down to our feet.

The breath has the power to soften,

To melt,

To calm.

As you breathe,

Send the breath to the parts of you that may be resistant to rest.

In this practice,

We will use the power of affirmations and the power of breathing in and out to ground us here in this moment.

On the in-breath,

We say,

I am,

And on the out-breath,

Breathing.

So together,

Taking an inhale of I am,

On the exhale,

Breathing.

I am breathing.

I am breathing.

I am breathing.

I am breathing.

Now changing breathing to here.

So receiving a breath.

I am here.

I am here.

I am here.

I am here.

And together,

Taking a deep inhale in through the nose,

Letting it all go through the mouth.

Continuing that practice.

On the inhale,

I am.

On the exhale,

Now.

I am.

Now.

I am.

Now.

I am.

Now.

I am.

Now.

And together,

Taking a deep inhale in through the nose,

Letting it all go through the mouth.

Use this practice as many times as needed,

As a tool,

As a refuge,

As a way to connect to yourself when everything else feels so disconnected.

Don't forget to breathe and don't forget your breath.

Thank you for your time,

Your love,

And sending you guidance.

The synthesizer (sound 🎹 ) was a little annoying to me. I know the intention was to signal the breathing in and out but it was too artificial and speedy for me. Otherwise very nice. Thank you

Synched and my breathing to the sound instantly. The body scan was a bonus to the affirmations. Only I didn't get "I am - now". My mind and thoughts stumbled there. Nice, soothing voice.
