Find a place where you can be undisturbed and either sitting or lying down,
Whatever is the most comfortable for you.
Now,
As you notice the top of your head,
You can relax your entire scalp,
Allowing all those tiny little muscles from the top of your head all the way down to the base of your skull to go limp and loose,
Completely relaxed.
Notice how easily you do this as you begin to notice how your forehead relaxes and goes smooth like a baby's bottom,
Becoming more and more relaxed.
Feeling now all those tiny little muscles around your eyes completely relax right now.
That's right.
You can let that relaxation spread through your whole face.
All those muscles around your mouth go completely limp and loose easily and effortlessly.
Notice now how all the muscles in the jaw completely and totally relax.
As your jaw goes slack,
Even your tongue relaxes as you become more and more relaxed,
Allowing that relaxation to go down,
All the way down to your neck and shoulders.
All those muscles relaxing,
Taking you deeper and deeper down into total relaxation,
Deeper still.
Now,
That profound relaxation travels down more and more into your chest,
Spreading across and all the way down your chest,
Down your upper back,
Down your upper arms,
Relaxing all those muscles even more,
Taking you deeper and deeper down as you continue to allow that calming,
Gentle,
Peaceful relaxation to go down into your forearms and hands.
Feeling now your arms and hands go completely limp,
Heavy,
And relaxed,
Going even deeper now.
Noticing how that heavy relaxation travels down into your lower back,
Completely relaxing every muscle in your back as that relaxation spreads around to your diaphragm and stomach,
Moving down deeper and deeper into your stomach,
Into your large and small intestines,
Bringing profound relaxation right now.
That's right.
Everything easily relaxing more and more,
Bringing balance,
Health,
And ease to mind,
Body,
And spirit.
And you get the sense,
The knowing,
That everything's working just as it should.
This knowing takes you even deeper into total relaxation.
Now,
Doubling your relaxation every time you hear the word relaxed,
Knowing that you're 100% safe to totally and completely relax.
That's right.
Allowing easily now for that relaxation to go down into your hips,
Your bottom,
Relaxing you even more,
Feeling now heavy and completely relaxed.
And the more you relax,
The deeper you go,
And you go even deeper,
All the way down,
Allowing that deep,
Gentle,
And peaceful relaxation all the way down into your thighs,
Allowing all those big muscles in your thighs to go limp and loose very easily.
It's even easier to allow yourself to completely relax now,
Going even deeper down,
Feeling so relaxed as that comfort goes down even more into your calves as those muscles melt with total relaxation.
And the more you relax,
The better you feel because you're here listening to me and relaxing more and more.
That means you have 100% control of your life.
Knowing this brings you profound confidence,
Safety,
And clarity.
This allows you to go even deeper now,
Allowing that relaxation to go down even more,
Deeper still,
Into your ankles,
Your feet,
And your toes,
Relaxing all those muscles easily and effortlessly,
Feeling completely relaxed now.
That's right,
Heavy and relaxed,
Feeling calm,
Safe,
Confident,
And completely relaxed.
Now you feel safe and secure,
Feeling completely relaxed,
Confident,
And at ease,
Doubling your relaxation now,
Even deeper,
Deeper still,
Deeper down,
Doubling your relaxation,
Deeper still,
Aware now of your breathing and how comfortable it has become.
Each gentle breath relaxes you.
You relax more with each breath that you take,
Deeper,
Even deeper,
Into a state of profound relaxation of mind and body,
Doubling your relaxation,
Going even deeper.
The deeper you go,
The better you feel,
And you go deeper,
The better you feel,
All the way down now into total relaxation.
And now I'd like you to imagine that you're walking along a path in a beautiful mountain setting,
And as you walk,
Allow your comfort to increase as you sink deeper and deeper into trance.
And I really can't know for sure all the things you'll be noticing.
Perhaps you'll particularly enjoy the contrasting shades of colors,
Or be aware of all the trees silhouetted against the blue sky with peacefully drifting fluffy clouds.
I wonder if you'll notice a nearby mountainside with interesting patterns of rocks and trees.
Many people enjoy the sounds of nature,
Like the sound of the wind in the trees,
Or of a nearby stream,
Or of birds singing.
Perhaps you'll notice the warmth of the sun against your skin,
Or the texture of things you touch along the way.
As you walk,
Just take time to notice the things that interest you as you drift deeper and deeper into trance.
And I'd like you to imagine that you're carrying a large pack on your back.
Feel the weight and burden of it,
And imagine that as you're walking.
The pack is growing heavier with each step.
The pack is filled with objects of some kind,
Objects that contain and have been infused with the heavy burden of all your excess worry,
Concerns,
And feelings.
And now,
The path begins leading up a rise,
Up a slight hill,
And the pack is feeling even heavier.
But you sense that a short distance ahead,
That you will come to the top of the hill.
As you reach the top,
The path leads into a large,
Open meadow with beautiful green grass and wildflowers.
And you can walk out into the meadow,
Noticing the beauty.
In the meadow,
You can also see a large,
Colorful helium or hot air balloon with a gondola underneath,
And it is moored and tied down with large ropes.
Walk over to it,
And inside the gondola,
You'll notice a large basket or container of some kind,
Which you can unlatch,
And which is empty inside.
Now,
Take off the heavy backpack and drop it onto the ground.
Are you tired of carrying around in your life that heavy burden of those feelings,
Which you've been carrying for so long?
Do you feel ready to get rid of those old,
Outdated emotions and feelings?
That's right.
Then,
In a moment,
I'm going to ask you to open that pack,
And inside you'll find some kind of objects or containers that have been infused with all those excessive feelings that have been weighing you down.
Open the pack and see what kind of objects you find that contain all those feelings and emotions.
What are they?
Okay.
Now,
I'd like you to take those objects slowly,
One at a time,
And toss them into that large basket in the gondola.
And I think you're going to be pleased to notice that with each object that you throw away,
All those feelings can decrease,
And that will be such a relief.
It's as if you're filling that basket up with all those feelings,
As though you're cleansing yourself of all those excessive feelings,
Feeling increasing peace and comfort,
Increasing relief and freedom.
With every object that you throw into that basket in the gondola,
And by the time you've thrown all of those objects,
I think you're going to be surprised,
Or perhaps just enjoy,
How free,
How peaceful you can feel within yourself right now.
Now,
Go ahead and take the objects out of the pack and begin throwing them,
One at a time,
Into that basket.
And you can enjoy getting rid of those feelings.
When you've thrown the last object into the basket,
So that the basket is filled with all of those excessive feelings,
You can breathe easy.
Good.
That's right.
Now,
Close and latch the lid of the basket,
And you can either untie those ropes,
Or use a big knife or axe that you'll find nearby on the ground to cut those ropes.
Rest back on the comfortable grass and watch it float up into the sky,
Carrying away the basket and all those excessive feelings that have burdened you.
And with each movement and motion of the balloon up into the sky,
You can feel an increasing sense of release and relief.
Free of those feelings,
So that they will no longer have to influence your thoughts,
Or moods,
Or actions.
Free of those feelings.
Watch as the wind begins to carry the balloon farther and farther away.
Soon it will be out of sight.
And when it's gone,
You can take a big deep breath,
And then you can really enjoy the freedom,
Enjoy the freedom and relief and peacefulness of being rid of those feelings.
And this relief and peace can flow and circulate all through you right now.
And you'll be delighted to discover that these feelings of freedom and comfort and well-being can remain with you.
That's right.
And that means you know now that you are in control of your mind and your life.
Knowing this makes you happy.
And you know you can feel calm and relaxed and full of joy.
And you know you are here to use your creativity.
That means you can only feel good about what you have done for what you have achieved.
Having invested in yourself,
Cleared and cleansed and healed yourself.
And now you can look ahead with excitement at all the enjoyment that life is holding for you.
That's right.
Just being yourself means you are naturally confident and successful and happy.
And whenever you're unconscious,
Mind is finished with what it needs to do at this time.
It will find its own way of letting you know.
And in your own time,
At your own pace,
And only when your unconscious mind is ready for you to do so,
You can begin to drift back quietly,
Easily,
From wherever it is you have been,
Reorienting yourself to this time,
This place.
And become aware of feeling very refreshed,
Alert,
Comfortable.
And with a very deep sense of having accomplished something of tremendous importance just for you.
And you won't do it until your unconscious mind is ready for you to do so.
And in a moment,
I'm going to count from one to ten.
And with each count,
You will wake up one tenth of the way.
At eight,
You will open your eyes.
At ten,
You will feel fully awake,
Feeling refreshed,
Confident,
Knowing you are in control.
And all normal feeling will return to your body,
Arms,
And legs.
One,
Two,
Three,
Becoming aware of your body and your surroundings.
Four,
Five,
Six,
Feeling more and more awake now.
Seven,
Eight,
Eyes fully open,
Feeling refreshed.
Nine,
Ten,
Fully awake,
Feeling grounded,
Feeling so good now.
Feeling so good now.
Take a big stretch and a nice deep breath.
