Find a place where you can go undisturbed and rest back in a way that is most comfortable for you,

Either sitting or lying down,

Knowing that this time is just for you to relax,

Reset,

And let go of anything weighing you down.

Today you can find your inner confidence and stand tall again.

That's right.

Now as you sit or lie back,

You can begin to notice the support beneath you,

Noticing how that support asks nothing from you.

It's just there,

Gently and comfortably supporting you.

It's okay to allow yourself to sink deep down into the support,

Knowing it's safe for you to do so,

Relaxing more and more as you do,

Even deeper down now,

Sinking so deeply down into that support that you become joined,

Become one with the support,

So much so that you forget the difference between you and the support,

Now so deeply supported that you know the support is you sinking deeper down,

Even more,

Deeper still.

That's right.

You can notice your whole body relaxing more and more,

Even deeper,

Feeling so comfortable just where you are right now,

Feeling from the top of your head all the way down to your toes,

Deeply and profoundly relaxed,

Allowing your comfort to deepen even more.

That's right.

And you can notice how the more you relax,

The deeper you go into total relaxation,

Completely relaxed,

Noticing now how your breathing has become more relaxed,

Slowing down,

Calm,

Slow,

And relaxed,

Allowing the breath to find its ideal pace as it takes you deeper down,

Even more,

Deeper still,

All the way down.

With every calm,

Comfortable breath,

You relax even more,

Deeper still,

Even more.

That's right.

Now,

Doubling your relaxation with each breath that you take.

The more you relax,

The deeper you go,

And you go deeper,

The more you relax,

Feeling so comfort,

Able to go deeper now.

That's right.

Doubling your relaxation,

Even more,

Even more,

Deeper,

Even deeper now.

And you can notice your heartbeat slowing down,

Calm and peaceful,

Slow and steady,

Relaxing you even more,

Deeper still,

Each heartbeat creating total and profound relaxation right now.

That's right.

Allowing the heartbeat to find its ideal pace as it takes you deeper down,

Totally relaxed in mind and body,

Deeper still.

Continuing to allow that relaxation to spread all the way down your entire body,

Even deeper,

Deeper down,

Completely and totally relaxed right now,

Noticing how easily and effortlessly you relax.

Now,

As you notice the top of your head,

You can relax your entire scalp,

Allowing all those tiny little muscles from the top of your head,

All the way down to the base of your skull to go limp and loose,

Completely relaxed.

Notice how easily you do this as you begin to notice how your forehead relaxes and goes smooth like a baby's bottom,

Becoming more and more relaxed,

Feeling now all those tiny little muscles around your eyes completely relax right now.

That's right.

You can let that relaxation spread through your whole face,

All those muscles around your mouth go completely limp and loose,

Easily and effortlessly.

Notice now how all the muscles in the jaw completely and totally relax as your jaw goes slack.

Even your tongue relaxes as you become more and more relaxed,

Allowing that relaxation to go down,

All the way down to your neck and shoulders,

All those muscles relaxing,

Taking you deeper and deeper down into total relaxation,

Deeper still.

Now,

That profound relaxation travels down more and more into your chest,

Spreading across and all the way down your chest,

Down your upper back,

Down your upper arms,

Relaxing all those muscles even more,

Taking you deeper and deeper down as you continue to allow that calming,

Gentle,

Peaceful relaxation to go down into your forearms and hands,

Feeling now your arms and hands go completely limp,

Heavy and relaxed,

Going even deeper now,

Noticing how that heavy relaxation travels down into your lower back,

Completely relaxing every muscle in your back as that relaxation spreads around to your diaphragm and stomach,

Moving down deeper and deeper into your stomach,

Into your large and small intestines,

Bringing profound relaxation right now.

That's right,

Everything easily relaxing more and more,

Bringing balance,

Health,

And ease to mind,

Body,

And spirit.

And you get the sense,

The knowing,

That everything's working just as it should.

This knowing takes you even deeper into total relaxation.

Now,

Doubling your relaxation every time you hear the word relaxed,

Knowing that you're 100% safe to totally and completely relax.

That's right,

Allowing easily now for that relaxation to go down into your hips,

Your bottom,

Relaxing you even more,

Feeling now heavy and completely relaxed.

And the more you relax,

The deeper you go,

And you go even deeper all the way down,

Allowing that deep,

Gentle,

And peaceful relaxation all the way down into your thighs,

Allowing all those big muscles in your thighs to go limp and loose very easily.

It's even easier to allow yourself to completely relax now,

Going even deeper down,

Feeling so relaxed as that comfort goes down even more into your calves as those muscles melt with total relaxation.

And the more you relax,

The better you feel because you're here listening to me and relaxing more and more.

That means you have 100% control of your life.

Knowing this brings you profound confidence,

Safety,

And clarity.

This allows you to go even deeper now,

Allowing that relaxation to go down even more,

Deeper still into your ankles,

Your feet,

And your toes,

Relaxing all those muscles easily and effortlessly,

Feeling completely relaxed now.

That's right,

Heavy and relaxed,

Feeling calm,

Safe,

Confident,

And completely relaxed.

That's right.

Now,

As you listen to me,

I will talk to you.

And as I talk to your mind,

Your mind can wonder.

And while your mind wonders,

You can begin to think about different thoughts and feelings while you begin to drift deeper inside.

And you can have a sense of noticing a grand oak tree.

And you can be curious about that tree as you begin to walk toward it.

And as you walk closer and closer to the tree,

You can notice the secret door in the base of the tree.

And you can walk to the door and gently open it to reveal a grand and wonderful staircase with 20 steps.

And in a moment,

You can begin to walk comfortably down that staircase one step at a time as I count down from 20 to 1.

And with each count,

You can go 1 20th of the way deeper into a trance as you step on to step 20.

That's right,

Deeper and deeper.

And you can notice what is around you.

And I wonder what you can see.

And I wonder if you can hear each step you take and what it feels like to take each step deeper and deeper into trance in steps,

Relaxing into the experience 19 deeper and deeper in your own unique way.

And I wonder whether you will take a step with each count or two steps with each count at times and another times pause for thought or to relax a little deeper or just to look around or to stop a moment to take in the experience 18 going deeper and deeper,

Knowing you can take yourself down into the state anytime you please just by finding that tree walking through the door and walking down the steps 17 going deeper and deeper with each count 1 20th of the way into trance with each number 16 15 14.

That's right.

And I don't know and I don't know whether you will go even deeper with the words that I say or the spaces between the words 13 12 11 deeper and deeper 10 9 over halfway now into a deep and comfortable hypnotic trance 8 all the way down 7 deeper and deeper 6 as you approach the bottom of the stair I wonder whether you will become curious about what you will discover 5 as you shortly begin to notice a door down there for all the way into trance 3 as you approach the bottom of the steps 2 and 1 in trance now as you push that door and see a familiar looking room you know you've never seen before and wonder where that chair in the room will lead you and you can go sit in the chair and drift deeply inside getting a sense of finding that chair so comforting and relaxing your eyes relax shut and you get a sense of drifting off into a pleasant dream that's right I would just like for you to let yourself zero in on the idea of just being comfortable and there have been many times many places many situations where you have felt so comfortable that nothing else mattered except that comfort and you might think of them now and let your unconscious mind present to you one such situation where you really experience the sense of physical and mental comfort and you can recall and re-experience all the sensations the sights the sounds the feelings which go with extremely comfortable and you can recall where you first experienced feeling profound relaxation covering your body the feeling of every muscle in that part of your body just loosening up and just letting go and lying flat and limp very deeply relaxed and very likely part of your body that needed the relaxation most will we re-experience it first and the feeling of every nerve in that part of your body becoming very quiet peaceful not doing any more than is absolutely necessary and you can wonder what direction that relaxation is going to move through your body whether you experience it all at once like a flow of comfort peacefully moving through you and soon you get the feeling that you don't even have to be aware of it anymore you can simply allow yourself to become part of that relaxation as it becomes part of you and it will be very interesting for you to discover for yourself that you don't even need to listen to me because what your conscious mind does now is not at all important maybe your conscious mind just wants to take a break curl up in a corner and go to sleep for a while or go as far away as it likes the way you did as a kid in school when you sat in the classroom and looked out the window and allowed your mind to drift far away from the classroom as it could get someplace you'd rather be then you lost track of what was being said and it didn't matter because your unconscious mind was picking up everything which was being said as it is doing now and your unconscious mind is here with me and it can hear me and respond in its own time in its own comfortable way my voice will always go with you no matter how deep you go and you will remember everything i say unconsciously and forget everything i say consciously that's right you can enjoy whatever it is you are experiencing and right now you can enjoy whatever sensations heaviness or lightness warmth or coolness and let them become part of your relaxation and comfort you can go as deeply as you need to at this time for whatever it is your unconscious mind wants to do to help you enjoy this experience and you might enjoy that experience of going so deeply into trance that it seems to you that you are just all mind without a body a mind floating in space and time completely free able to move whenever and wherever it wants to go that's right and i wonder what your unconscious mind wants to explore right now what doors it wants to open perhaps taking a look through the file cabinets in the corner of that marvelous data processing system that is your mind searching through the files and examining things that stay the way they are things that need to be updated what needs to be erased what items can be eliminated and it is very comforting for you to discover for yourself that you can can really let go of old habits and your unconscious mind can do this in its own time and in its own way and you can continue to rest even more comfortably just knowing you can rely on your unconscious mind to do the things that need to be done you can begin to explore your capabilities that you never had suspected you had which have been there all the time and find out for yourself a very deep sense of just who and what you are and what you are capable of doing all those things perhaps you just weren't aware of them before but your unconscious mind can make them available to you at the time that you need them that's right and you can continue drifting along very comfortably wherever you are in time and space just enjoying the restfulness of not having to do anything in particular right now and i wonder if you might begin to notice some change in the atmosphere around you perhaps taking on a different color and that atmosphere around you seems to be radiating a calmness you can experience with every one of your senses a calmness moving all around you and all over you softly moving itself into every fiber of your being until you get the feeling that's all there is nothing else exists for you except that calmness deep sense of peace weightless suspension and you feel free from the past out of the future just enjoying the here and now free to just let yourself be and on an even deeper level experience a sense of your own being who you are what you are capable of becoming more aware of your own inner resources and now you can anticipate the joy of discovering those resources and what you can do to make use of them to help yourself and other people as well and now for the next few minutes you can allow yourself to relax even more deeply as your unconscious mind continues the important work it has started for you working to reach an even deeper understanding that's it and you can begin to explore your own natural ability to accept yourself and to accept yourself is to be comfortable with who you are as an individual and you know every blade of grass in a meadow looks different on close inspection yet together a meadow can look beautiful and you know the one thing all people have in common is that all people are unique and i wonder what will be the trigger that makes self-acceptance possible and you can step back and view your life and as you view your life you can wonder how you got here and you can look back over good decisions and bad decisions and wonder how they have shaped who you have become and who you will be developing into and mistakes are unplanned lessons and i wonder what you can learn from your mistakes and how this learning can help to enhance your own self-acceptance and as you review the past you can learn about the future what will it mean to you to have self-acceptance how about being accepted by others how will things change and a part of you can instinctively explore these areas and you can learn and you can understand and you can imagine a positive role model that accepts themself and what is different about that person what do they do how do you know they accept themselves and you can be curious about what changes will occur that lead you to you accept yourself and curious to discover how this affects who you are as a person and what will be different about the way you interact with others and develop over time and i wonder if you can be curious about how people accept each other and put each other's faults aside and how they manage this and your unconscious now can take as long as it needs to make all the necessary changes on an instinctive level to discover how to accept yourself and find that change happens that's right and as you continue to relax you can begin to create a deep and meaningful change and that change can develop from the inside out and with each breath you take that change can continue to grow and you can wonder what it is like to live in security to live with a sense of feeling secure in yourself and living in security where previously there was insecurity can be an experience and your unconscious can begin to make the necessary changes on an instinctive level to enhance that sense of feeling secure in who you are as a person and you can learn how to feel secure in relationships and what it is like in secure relationships and secure people in secure relationships can develop securely and a deep part of you can develop all the necessary changes that will ensure you are secure in yourself and in your relationships and that you remain calm and clear thinking and you can explore what life will be like when you feel secure in yourself and in relationships and with those around you and you can explore what you will feel like in situations that in the past would have made that old you feel insecure and you can notice what you say to yourself and notice how you behave and what others will see and hear that would let them notice that you are secure and that you are secure in your relationships and in your relationships change has happened and what other differences does this change make to your life as you continue to grow up and develop and discover this new you and as you take some time to honestly and fully explore how feeling secure and being a secure person changes your life for the better the instinctive response to change is all by itself that part of you can begin to take as long as it needs over the next few minutes to update fully and honestly all of your future response and make all the necessary changes to make those future changes reality and as you continue to learn how you can step back in your mind and how you can learn to step back in your mind in future situations and how this stepping back in your mind can allow you to get a new perspective on a problem and in situations in the future you can step back in your mind and see the wood for the trees and you know it is easy for a football fan watching football on a tv and shout and the tv and know the player should have passed the ball yet the player who is in the game the expert didn't notice the opportunity because they were in the game and too busy focusing on not losing the ball and you can learn from this how you can change your mind and develop in new ways that's right and you have all the resources and skills you need at an unconscious level based on all of your life experiences and as you relax here and now you can begin to learn unconsciously how to link skills resources and abilities from one area of your life to other areas of your life and you don't have to know how you do this it can happen automatically as you take time to drift deeper and deeper into this state your subconscious mind has all that you need to bring happiness into your life deep down in the depths of your subconscious like a deep sea your subconscious mind with fathomless steps allow the feelings lock deep down in those depths memories that have brought you happiness experiences that have brought you pleasure they may be buried deep deep down allow them to bubble up to the surface like bubbles surface upon the water popping into the air small bubbles at first small feelings of joy allow them to surface and make them bigger stronger good feeling surfacing bubbling to the surface from deep down below lost at the bottom of your subconscious for some time perhaps but allowing them up now at first it may feel like those good feelings are just out of your reach it may feel like a glimmer in your peripheral vision something there but not quite there glimmering there just at the edge of your sight allowing it to come into focus allowing allowing yourself to see those good feelings that have bubbled up to the surface feel them come clearly into sight see them clearly making that feeling stronger sharper clearer those good feelings can be there now allowing them back in so strong now feeling it remembering how it feels to feel good making it stronger and those bubbles increasing now as you allow them up to the surface you begin to notice those feelings more and more as the days pass it may have started slowly at first but now now you can notice those moments of pleasure in your daily life those feelings that you had been overlooking but will not overlook anymore you may wonder why you had overlooked those good feelings in the past but you will not overlook them anymore so good strong and powerful as you begin to notice those good feelings that become even stronger more powerful choosing positive thoughts it is in your power to choose now and why would you want to suppress those good thoughts no longer burying them deep allowing them up and enjoying them and this is not something that you will not find easy now that's right and now you know your future is unfolding here and now today presenting you with a new surge of confidence and positive beliefs and your ability to live your life as you want to happily starting now you will feel comfortable with yourself regardless of the circumstances because you know that you are in control you feel calm relaxed and happy with yourself in any situation even those that you found challenging in the past because now you trust yourself value yourself knowing that you are so unique and have intrinsic value there is only one person like you and you are now starting to look forward to use those gifts that only you have those talents gifts and abilities that make you so unique and you know that whatever you think you are you are so much more than that you have infinite potential infinite creative power a great energy to be and have and do what you want to in this world and now you are free to be yourself feeling comfortable with yourself regardless of what anyone else thinks you are now able to meet people on equal terms and you feel more relaxed and at ease in the presence of other people friends and strangers alike feeling self-assured confident you are free from other people's opinions thoughts and ideas because you have accepted yourself just the way you are valuing yourself just the way you are and then you notice how other people value you too just for who and what you are so unique so valuable and you feel excited about the future knowing that the future holds multiple opportunities and potential and choices and that makes you feel excited about the power of your mind and thoughts to create the future of your dreams here and now using your creative power to create the life and the future that you always wanted just the way you want it beginning now and that means you know now that you are in control of your mind in your life you are an inspiration to those around you knowing this makes you happy and you know you can feel calm and relaxed and full of joy knowing you affect other people positively as they look to you as an example of what can be and you know you are here to use your creativity in service of others and knowing that and doing that means you can only feel good about what you have done for what you have achieved having invested in yourself cleared and cleansed and healed yourself and now you can look ahead with excitement at all the enjoyment that life is holding for you that's right just being yourself means you are naturally confident and successful and happy and whenever your unconscious mind is finished with what it needs to do at this time it will find its own way of letting you know and in your own time at your own pace and only when your unconscious mind is ready for you to do so you can begin to drift back quietly easily from wherever it is you have been reorienting yourself to this time this place and become aware of feeling very refreshed alert comfortable and with a very deep sense of having accomplished something of tremendous importance just for you and you won't do it until your unconscious mind is ready for you to do so and in a moment i'm going to count from one to ten and with each count you will wake up one tenth of the way at eight you will open your eyes at ten you will feel fully awake feeling refreshed confident knowing you are in control and all normal feeling will return to your body arms and legs one two three becoming aware of your body and your surroundings four five six feeling more and more awake now seven eight eyes fully open feeling refreshed nine ten fully awake feeling grounded feeling so good now take a big stretch and a nice deep breath
