Thank you for joining me again.

This is the fourth meditation in the series called Your Meditation Journey and this meditation is focused on being at peace.

Now that you practice physical relaxation,

Quieting the mind,

Calming the emotions,

You can begin to experience this sense of peacefulness within.

This is a wonderful state to reach and this meditation will be focused on accessing that peaceful state.

So let's begin.

Again let's start with three easy breaths.

An easy inhale and an easy exhale.

Another easy inhale and easy exhale.

And on this third breath,

As you inhale,

Imagine a warm wave of relaxation starting at the top of your head.

And as you exhale,

Feel that wave of relaxation slowly moving down across your scalp.

And as the wave moves across your scalp and across your head,

Feel the relaxation that it creates.

As this warm wave moves down across your face,

Relax in your forehead and your eyes,

All the tiny muscles around your eyes.

Relax in your temples,

Your ears,

The back of your head,

Your jaw muscles and your mouth.

Relax in your tongue.

Moving now down to your neck and your throat.

Relaxing the muscles in the back of the neck.

Relaxing your throat.

And as this warm wave of relaxation continues to move down across your shoulders,

Relaxing all these muscles in the shoulder area,

There are quite a few.

And feeling this wave of relaxation moving down your arms and across your chest.

Relaxing your lungs internally and across your back,

Beginning to relax your back.

And as this warm wave moves down across the small of your back,

Across your torso,

Your belly,

Relaxing all the organs inside.

And feeling this wave of relaxation all the way down your arms now,

Down to the tips of your fingers.

And down across your hips and your pelvic region,

Relaxing these areas.

And now moving down across your thighs.

This warm wave of relaxation,

Relaxing your thighs and then your knees,

Your calf muscles and your shins.

And actually feel this wave of relaxation as it moves now down to your ankles,

Across the tops of your feet and out to your toes.

And then now down to the very soles of your feet.

So now you can feel this warm wave of relaxation from the top of your head all the way to the bottom of your feet.

And feel the pulsing,

Gentle rhythm of this warm wave of relaxation all the way up and down your body.

Just relax.

Allow yourself to be completely and totally relaxed.

Now with your imagination as you take another breath,

As you inhale on the breath,

Imagine that you are in a beautiful place in nature.

Whatever your favorite place is,

Whether that's a park or a beach,

A forest or a stream,

A mountain,

A desert,

Whatever your favorite place in nature is,

Just imagine that you're standing there.

You've come to this favorite place and as you stand in this favorite place in nature,

Feel the beauty,

Feel the calmness,

Feel the happiness that you've experienced in this favorite place in nature.

The connection.

The sense of being connected to nature itself,

Whether that's the gentle waves rolling in or a babbling brook and enjoying the beautiful sound of the water or the wind through the trees or across the mountain.

Whatever your favorite place in nature is,

Allow yourself to move into this place and experience it with all of your senses,

Listening to the sounds,

Looking around with your eyes and seeing the beauty,

Smelling the smells.

There may be fruit on a tree,

Taste the flavor.

There might be trees that you want to touch with your hand or sand you want to pick up,

Water you'd like to put your hand into.

Whatever your favorite place in nature is that you have now put yourself into,

Use all of your five senses to engage this beautiful place.

And as you do this,

Feel the thoughts in your mind slowing down and simply observing and sensing the wonders of this beautiful place in nature.

Feel your emotions calming down and coming to rest.

And feel that sense of connection with nature itself so that as your body has relaxed,

Your mind has slowed down,

Your emotions have calmed down.

Here in this favorite place in nature,

You can begin to feel at peace.

So simply explore this beautiful place in nature,

Your favorite place,

And for a few moments,

I'll just be quiet and let you feel the beauty and the peace here in your favorite place.

You Here in this beautiful place in nature,

This place that you love to come to,

That you've put yourself into here today,

Just know that this is a place for you to be at peace.

It's a place that you can come to when you want to slow down your thoughts,

When you want to calm your emotions,

And when you simply want to relax.

All you have to do to experience this level of peace is to imagine yourself here in your favorite place in nature and observe and engage with your five senses,

This beautiful place that means so much to you.

So look around for just a moment longer.

Listen,

Smell,

Taste,

Touch.

Now begin to come back,

Come back from your favorite place in nature.

And again remember that anytime you want to feel this level of peace within yourself,

All you have to do is imagine this favorite place in nature and simply engage with it.

So come back into your room that you're sitting in,

Saying goodbye to your favorite place in nature.

Come back into your body and back into this time.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Thank you again for joining me today.

I wish you well.

Namaste.

Mind travel to a favorite place in nature is a great way to escape and create a sense of peace and harmony, I am blessed to live in the mountains with beautiful options close by in all directions. 🌄 Namaste.

I found the teacher’s voice soothing. I appreciated the thoroughness of the body scan. I also appreciated having a few moments of silence to be in my favourite place in nature. Thank you for offering this.
