Welcome to a walking meditation.

I'm excited to go on a walk with you.

Yes,

This is not a meditation where we sit still or lie down.

I would like to invite you to put on some comfortable clothes,

Your shoes,

A jacket,

Maybe a hat,

Depending on where you are,

And start walking.

It doesn't really matter where you take your walk,

But make sure it's a path you feel comfortable and safe walking and possibly stopping on your way.

All right,

If you still need to get ready,

Pause here,

Then put me back on once you're outside,

Ready to go.

Here we go.

As you start your walk,

I would like you to ground both your feet firmly on the ground.

For a moment,

Close your eyes here.

Notice your stand,

Both of your feet grounded,

Strong.

Allow your arms to be at your sides and relax your shoulders.

Put a smile on your face.

Now take a deep breath in,

Hold the breath.

As you exhale out through your mouth,

Invite any form of sound with your breath.

Maybe a sigh like I just did or an ah or mmm.

Whatever wants to release with your exhale.

Let's do it again.

Inhale deeply,

Hold the breath in for a moment.

And now exhale and release out through your mouth with any sort of sound.

And one last time.

Inhale deeply,

Hold the breath in for a moment.

And exhale,

Release.

Come back to your natural rhythm of breath and for a moment notice your inhale.

Your exhale here,

Find your rhythm.

Then notice your surroundings,

Temperature,

The noises around you.

How does the air feel on your skin?

Open your eyes,

Let's start walking.

I invite you to notice every step you take,

Find your pace.

Place your steps consciously but try to not look down at your feet.

Place each foot with purpose but don't think of any goal to reach.

Connect your breath to your walking pace,

Don't overthink it.

It will happen naturally.

Now start looking around.

See,

Notice what's around you,

Take it all in.

Maybe see something you haven't seen before if you want to walk where you've been many times.

Allow the noises and the surroundings to be fully noticed.

Maybe for the first time.

Maybe this means to slow down your pace.

Keep smiling.

Now take a break again.

Take a moment to look up to the sky.

What is it you see?

Keep the gaze up now as you close your eyes.

Now allow the rays of the sun.

Yeah,

Maybe they need to come through thick clouds but you know they are there.

Allow the rays of sun to enter through your face.

Feel the light come in,

Flowing right through you,

Down through your legs,

Right into the earth.

Feel how this light roots you stronger.

At the same time you feel light and lifted,

Ready to move on,

Stronger than ever.

Take a deep inhale here.

Again exhale,

Release out through your mouth.

Allow your eyes to open and continue walking.

Notice how you're walking a little lighter but with a strong connection to the earth,

The ground.

Notice how you step with more confidence and strength.

Walk with your chest lifted and your head high.

You know where you're going and you know that each step takes you closer to yourself.

You are at peace right here and now.

This moment is all that matters.

No must,

No should,

Simply you.

All you are and all you can be.

Keep walking confidence strong,

Light and lifted.

Walking this moment of yours,

Your peace,

Your strength.

Once again take a moment to pause,

Stand strong and grounded.

Feel your feet,

The connection to the earth,

Your breath,

Calm and strong.

Feel the air brush your face,

The noises of nature become music in your ears.

And you know whatever the outer world looks like within you,

You can always come back to your strong roots,

To your peace.

Now let's lock this feeling of peace.

Stay here with your eyes closed and feel it,

Connect.

And let's lock this feeling,

This peace with one word.

Choose a word,

Maybe it is the word peace,

Maybe it is the word love,

Maybe it is the word heart.

Whatever the word,

Say it out loud to yourself and feel it.

And say it again and feel it.

And one last time say the word and feel the strength,

The peace,

The confidence.

Take a deep inhale and as I exhale through your mouth open your eyes again,

Continue walking.

As you continue your walk again,

Find your pace,

The pace that comes from within.

Connected with your rhythm of breath,

Connected with the rhythm of nature that surrounds you.

As you continue your walk,

You walk with a steep connection to yourself,

Knowing that you have all and everything you'll ever need in this life already within you.

I hope you enjoyed this walk and continue walking if you like.

Stay connected and have a good time.

Thank you.
