Insight into Seeking

We often find ourselves trapped in the illusion of seeking when the paradox is actually finding once you give up seeking.
When you seek you are sending your mind out to look for itself.
Knocking on the door from the inside won't lead to anyone opening it.

Hi dear heart,

Welcome to this inside chat about seeking.

Have you ever heard yourself say that I'm going to look for myself or I need to find myself?

Or a lot of people are seeking awakening or on the path to awakening.

When we are seeking something,

It would suggest that that which we are seeking for is not present at the moment or that it is far away from here.

How can that be?

If you are seeking enlightenment or then seeking yourself,

Where do you start looking for everywhere?

When you simply stop and observe what is here,

It will be undeniable that conscious presence,

You,

Are right here.

Maybe it cannot be given a name,

Described or conceptualized,

But you can confirm that it is right here.

Saying it is close would mean it is apart from you,

Which it isn't.

Indivisible from you,

Yet invisible to you.

That ability which pays attention,

That ability to perceive,

The unchanging sense of presence,

Is always right here.

It can not be anywhere else but here because there is no there.
