Transcript

Gently inviting your awareness and your attention into this present moment.

As you separate your awareness from your thoughts,

You become aware that your breath and your body is embedded and emerged within this present moment.

Every event,

Tear,

Smile,

Blessing and hardship has prepared you for the moment to come.

A tuning to appreciation and being thankful for all that happened for you.

Allow the impermanence of the breath to serve naturally.

The breath is impermanent because it comes and it goes.

The only constant in the breath is the change.

Yet there is nothing to fear.

The same with all of our life experiences.

They too are impermanent and impersonal and not perfect.

Allow this universal law to be in your awareness.

Notice how this change can still give you a sense of stability.

In the same way as the breath fertilizes the lungs and the cells,

Our life experiences fertilizes our soul garden,

Allowing things without judgment or perfection,

Without wishing anything away.

When you choose to be happy,

You appreciate what you have as it is not happy people that are thankful.

It is thankful people that are happy.

Notice how the inhalation nurtures you and how the exhale gives you permission to release.

Now relax the awareness of breathing as you try to sense gratitude.

Try to be gracefully aware of gratitude,

Witnessing it with all five of your senses through eyes of kindness.

Your senses ground you into the present moment,

So let's come to our senses.

Awaken your sense of sight.

Choose to see the beauty around you.

The perfect being of nature,

People you love.

See the present moment,

The light,

The fire of the sun,

The trees dancing in the wind,

The formless flow of clouds and the magnificent landscapes.

Going towards your sense of listening,

Hearing my voice,

Listening to the beauty in music,

Love from earth in all its elements,

The crackling of fire,

The coral of the wind,

Crashing waters,

The compression of earth underneath your feet.

Drifting now towards your sense of smell,

Smelling all of the aromas that is around you,

The smell of rain,

The smell of nutrients in food while the earth provides,

Incense in your body,

The pure and clean,

Refreshing beach air.

Take yourself to your sense of taste,

Taste well around you.

Notice the different taste buds being stimulated by what the ground produces in the form of food.

Taste the wetness and the thirst quenching results of water.

Taste the pitta,

The fire,

The warmth and the cooling,

The dryness of air.

Move forward towards the feeling of touch.

Be in touch with the world in your present moment.

Feel the textures of the rudiments,

The grainy grounds,

The weightless wind,

The soft and smooth water and the warmth of the fire.

On a deeper level,

Feel these elements in your present moment,

The grounding support of Mother Earth,

The elevation and inspiration of the uplifting wind,

The cleansing and pure refreshed bliss of water and the comfort and coziness of fire.

Notice how all of the elements is also a part of you in this present moment.

Your breath,

The air element.

Your heartbeat,

The earth element.

Your blood,

The water.

Your metabolism,

The fire.

Cherish this unity to the present moment and to the vibration of gratitude.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.
