Hey everybody and welcome.
Thank you so much for taking the time to join my self forgiveness and self acceptance meditation.
If you're ready,
Go ahead and make your way to find a comfortable seated position for this practice.
Coming to sit in a comfortable cross legged position on a chair,
Maybe have the wall supporting the spine if you need it.
Add any layering or cushioning beneath you.
And once you've found your comfortable seat,
Go ahead and close the eyes.
Start to begin to feel the spine lengthen and elongate.
Feel the crown of the head lifting up a little higher towards the ceiling.
Feel the weight of both the sit bones rooting down into the earth.
Start to take the breath and travel it through the spine.
From the tailbone all the way up to the crown as you inhale and from the crown down to the tailbone to the root as you exhale.
Breathing into the top as you inhale,
Grounding the breath down to the root as you exhale.
Just doing a couple more like this at your own pace.
Inhaling and exhaling.
Really focusing at the tip of the nose.
Being intimately interested in the breath,
In the air,
In the texture,
In the temperature,
In the capacity of your breath in your lungs.
Allow it to create space.
And just check in to notice where you've landed in your seat today.
Where you've landed in your heart,
In your mind,
In your spirit.
With every inhalation and exhalation can you cover and cleanse the body,
The mind?
Can you coat yourself with some self-love,
Some self-acceptance,
Self-assurance?
Know that this is something that is accessible to you at any time to do.
Feel worthy enough of offering that to yourself.
Knowing that everything that you've done and everything that you are doing in this moment is the best that you can do.
Know that you are doing your best,
Trying your best,
Offering your best.
Pour in that sense of love,
Acceptance and forgiveness to the parts of you that have been punished or put aside for not being good enough.
Remain centered and anchored in the belief that you are exactly who you are meant to be.
And that there is no right or wrong action,
Choice or decision.
It's yours to make,
Yours to experience.
You are the powerhouse of your own self,
Your own life.
Offer any other words to yourself that you might need to hear at this time.
You are enough.
You are perfect.
You are capable of achieving and letting go.
You are a whole by doing a lot or doing nothing.
You are complete without your tasks,
Without your roles.
You are endless,
Boundless in every way.
Rest surely in the notion that your worth isn't tied up in anything external,
That it's yours to create,
To fulfill,
To nurture,
To ground,
To plant seeds and water.
Recalling these words to yourself if they resonate.
I forgive myself for being hard on myself.
I accept myself exactly for who I am,
What I am and what I do.
I love myself unconditionally,
Without goals,
Without restrictions,
Without timelines,
Without qualifications.
I am.
Now slowly start to deepen the breath,
Gently coming back into the body,
Connect back to the space that you're in,
The present moment.
Maybe introducing a little bit of movement through the hands or the feet or the face.
Let's take a deep breath in through the nose and a cleansing breath out through the mouth.
When you feel ready,
Gently begin to open the eyes,
Looking around,
Come back into your space,
Your time,
Yourself.
Thank you so much for joining me in this practice today.
I hope you enjoyed it.
Stay in touch.
Namaste.
