Aloha,

Welcome to this loving kindness meditation for personal healing.

Find a comfortable position during the time of this metta meditation.

You can choose to take a steady seat or lay down if you prefer.

If it feels right to you,

Gently close your eyes.

Otherwise keep a nice soft gaze at the tip of your nose or at a point in front of you.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Start to tune in.

Exhale softly.

We will start to settle in by creating awareness of your current state of being.

So start to notice how you feel right now,

At this very moment.

Observe the thoughts that are coming up for you.

Instead of letting these thoughts define you,

Give space for whatever comes up.

Know that each and every thought that comes up for you is allowed to be there.

Now slowly shift the awareness to how your physical body feels at this moment.

Is the body feeling relaxed or tense,

Are you warm or cold?

Is there a specific part of the body that needs to find healing right now?

In everything that you are currently observing,

You can approach with an equanimous mind.

Simply observe without the need to change or control anything.

For now,

Let it be.

Take a nice long deep breath in,

Slowly exhale.

Get ready to offer yourself some loving phrases of metta,

Of kindness.

Congratulations for taking this time for you,

The beautiful and abundant you,

To find healing.

Now you are focused to be on yourself and your own wellbeing.

Knowing in your heart that you deserve to be appreciated and to feel an abundance of joy.

We will enter a state of compassion and equanimity.

Accessing a deep state in which you know that you deserve to be healed and loved.

Helping us to find a deeper connection to ourselves.

Take a moment to notice how you are seated here right now.

Tune in and see if you can connect to your intentions.

What are your intentions for happiness and for healing?

How would you like to feel?

What would make you happy?

What are you naturally drawn towards when it comes to happiness?

Open your heart and let's begin.

Healing the mind,

Healing the body and finding a deep state of peace.

We will offer ourselves some phrases of metta,

Of love and kindness.

Really allow yourself to feel them and connect to them,

Connecting to the true meaning and intention behind them.

I offer loving kindness to myself.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May my body be fit and well taken care of.

May I operate at full capacity.

May I be strong.

May I be secure.

May I be peaceful.

Knowing in my heart that a better world starts with a healed self.

May I have the strength to find inner peace and healing.

I have a deep knowledge that I am whole.

I fully appreciate myself and my body.

I am happy and grateful to offer myself these loving phrases of metta and to show up for myself in a compassionate and open-hearted way.

I deserve love and healing.

I am sending myself love and healing.

I keep my heart open to receive all the wellness I deserve.

May I be well.

May I be safe.

May I live a healthy life.

May I be loved.

I am planting the seed of loving kindness.

I am surrounded by love.

I am loved.

Draw your attention back to the breath.

Take a deep inhalation through the nose and exhale with a deep sigh through the mouth.

Inhale healing.

Exhale.

Inhale harmony.

Exhale.

Exhale love.

Exhale.

May I be happy.

May I be healthy.

May I be strong.

May I be secure.

May I be peaceful.

May I be joyful.

Slowly start to bring your awareness back to your physical body.

To come out of this metta meditation,

You can start to move your body slowly.
