Welcome to your empowered birth meditation and visualisation.

Take a moment now to find stillness.

Let your body settle into comfort.

Whether you're lying down on your side or sitting upright,

Allow yourself to be supported completely.

Close your eyes gently.

Maybe you're doing your meditation and visualisation during your pregnancy,

Or perhaps even during labour.

Wherever you are,

Settle in.

If you feel like you want to move intuitively,

Do so.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

And exhale slowly through your nose or mouth.

Again inhale and exhale.

Let the next breath be even softer.

Begin to release any tension you might be holding on to.

Let your shoulders drop.

Let your jaw soften.

Let your belly be soft and open.

Let your birthing muscles relax and soften.

With each breath,

Begin to let go.

Let go of your day,

Your thoughts,

Your tension.

Feel the weight of your body sinking deeper into the earth.

The ground beneath you is strong,

Ancient and wise.

You are safe.

You are held.

Now gently bring your awareness to your belly,

To your womb,

The sacred space where your baby is growing,

Glowing with life,

Floating in warmth,

In love and in peace.

Visualise your womb as soft,

Expansive,

Glowing with golden light.

Every breath you take brings more openness,

More ease.

Your uterus is strong and wise.

Your cervix is softening like a flower,

Opening petal by petal,

Slowly,

Gently,

Perfect timing.

Now repeat quietly to yourself,

I soften,

I open,

I allow.

My body knows how to give birth.

Each wave brings me closer to meeting my baby.

Now see yourself in labour.

You are calm.

You are strong.

You are powerful.

You're fully present in your body.

With each wave you breathe,

You release,

You ride the rhythm.

In between each wave there is rest,

Deep soothing rest.

Visualise this space around you,

A birth space that feels sacred and safe.

You are surrounded by people that support you.

They trust you.

They believe in you.

They honour your choices.

They honour your wisdom.

See your baby working with you,

Turning,

Moving.

You are in sync.

You are a team and you're doing this together.

Affirm to yourself,

I trust my body.

I trust my baby.

I trust the process.

I am powerful.

I am confident.

I am patient.

I am prepared.

My breath guides me.

My intuition leads me.

I am excited to meet my baby.

I open like a flower.

Each wave brings my baby closer.

My baby will glide out gently.

My body knows exactly what to do and I know I can do this.

Giving birth is easy and pleasurable for me.

Meeting my baby is magical.

I am safe.

I am calm and ready.

I was made to do this.

I am giving birth naturally and this is the experience that I've always wanted.

It is so ecstatic and pleasurable.

My baby is in the perfect position.

I am safe.

I am ready.

In stillness and surrender,

The body opens.

In presence and breath,

The soul leads.

I trust my intuition and my inner power.

Now place your hands gently over your heart or belly.

Feel the bond between you and your baby,

Unbreakable,

Beautiful,

Timeless.

Breathe into that love,

Let it fill you completely.

Now let yourself be grateful.

Take a moment to think of all the things that you are grateful for.

Stay in this space of ultimate gratitude for a few more breaths.

Resting,

Softening,

Opening and when you are ready,

Slowly begin to come back with the joy of fingers and toes.

Roll your shoulders gently.

Move your body side to side and when it feels right,

Open your eyes.

Know that this feeling of calm and relaxation,
